What a beautiful way to be remembered!
i love talking to people in real life and being like “oh yeah i have instagram but i don’t really use it… i don’t have facebook or tiktok or anything like that either… idk i just don’t want to waste my life on social media, i prefer to live in the moment” and then i go home and spend 12 hours a day on tumblr
Healing / surrendering / forgetting what I know and remembering who I am / holding my neglected inner child / connecting to my womb / releasing traumatic imprints / reclaiming my body / discovering my inner wilderness.. this is going to be my inner world for the month of February. self improvement made simple
hey loves! when i first wanted to self improve i remember it felt so stressful, and i wanted to change every aspect in my lfie. now after a year of changing sm, im so happy with my results. im healthier than ever, more active and productive, and i don’t feel like i need to completely change, instead i just work on loving myself and setting goals :) if i went back to what i first started, here would be my easy advice for changing your life <3
self-reflection- the first step is viewing yourself as you are now. think about your physical and mental health, and how you’re doing in your life. i recommend getting a journal for this, go in depth when you answer these questions. ask yourself these 5 questions.
what unhealthy habits do you have and how do they impact your life?
are you really confident?
where do you see yourself 6 months from now?
what are your goals and how will you achieve them?
what healthy habits do you want in your life?
putting in the work- once you’ve mapped it out, you need to put things into action. start off easy, start off with what is attainable for you. as time goes on, you’ll be able to achieve more, but start simple now.
begin to incorporate the healthy habits you want into your daily life
start off easy (ex. reading for 10 minutes instead of 30, doing a simple workout when you start your journey)
keep a mental health journal to work on your mental health
find ways to work on your weaknesses
work towards becoming healthier
don’t overwhelm yourself- the fact that you’re working on yourself is so much to be proud of
practice self-love and self-acceptance
remember- you are already that girl. you are already your dream you. you just need to show up as her everyday.
self improvement is essentially improving your mental and physical health. identifying what you want to change in your life, and slowly changing it. self-improvement is a personal journey, know yourself and what works for you. we’re always on a journey and we’ll never be perfect. however, we can build habits that keep us healthier and happier.
