From left to right:

Sketch– $10 dollars, plus 5 per character

Bust– $20 dollars, plus 10 per character

Full body– $35, $40 for extras like a border or fancier shading

This is a screenshot of my current bank account, and although it seems alright, I’ve just sent 40 dollars to pay for a bill, leaving me with literally 9 dollars and 50 cents. I currently need 200 dollars to pay for my rent, and then 80 in two weeks to pay for another bill. All of the jobs I’ve applied for have yet to get back to me, as well. Things are looking, y’know…. Bad for me.

So the synopsis is this gay man who's father died and he now has to watch over his two half-sisters. But what's really the best part about this is that one of the sister's, Matilda, is an autistic teenager.

An autistic teenage girl who says that she doesn't like hugs and eye contact but still wants to show love to her half-brother by dancing as their way of hugging.

An autistic teenage girl who is never the butt of the joke and instead has jokes making fun of neurotypicals who stereotype her.

An autistic teenage girl who tries to be a good friend, even if she doesn't understand what's the "right" thing to do.

An autistic teenage girl who is EXPLORING HER SEXUALITY(!!!!!), making her one of the first canonically LGBT+ autistic characters.

So yes, Matilda is slowly making her way into my heart, and the fact that seemingly no one on Tumblr knows about this show is sad and we can't lose this show, not when it has so many milestones like this.

It's on Freeform and Hulu, there are only two episodes so far and it's only half an hour after the first episode.

I’m gonna try to explain my point through examples.

Ex 1: toddler screaming and crying in the walmart

Punishment: I’m going to spank you or embarrass you or yell at you! Shut up! I’ll give you something to cry about!

Discipline: stop doing what you’re doing because it isn’t productive and it disturbs others as well as increasing your own upsetnes. I’m going to take you out of the environment that’s upsetting you until you’re calm and we can identify what upset you together so I can explain to you why it’s like that/help you find ways to productively express upsetness as you grow.

Ex 2: your teen is failing, like, all their classes

Punishment: you’re grounded! You’re not allowed to go out with your friends or play games or do anything fun or enjoyable until your work is satisfactory!

Discipline: it’s important to do well in school. You need to communicate with me when you are struggling so I can help you. You also need to learn to manage fun stuff and work as that’s an important life skill in adulthood. I’m going to monitor your work more closely so I can help you find that balance. And if this is a deeper mental or emotional issue, we can seek help for you together.
