Nathan Sawaya quit his job as a lawyer to become a LEGO artist. It seemed crazy to his friends and family but Sawaya is an inspiration to always follow your dreams. But dreams don’t become reality unless you take risks and put in long hours doing what you love. In Sawaya’s case, he literally built his dream brick by brick.

Arresting art always plays on incongruities or surprising juxtapositions. Mixed-media artist, Cheyenne Randall, imagines celebrities, world leaders and fictional characters covered with tattoos. Quite intriguing to see the likes of Audrey Hepburn in a different new light.

The key to social media campaigns is simplicity. Make the campaign low barrier to engage in and harness your audience's existing behavior. UNICEF’s Tap Project is asking people to empathize with others who are deprived of clean drinking water to go without something far less vital – their phones. For every 10 minutes you don't touch your phone, sponsor Giorgio Armani will help provide one day of clean water for a child in need. Making an impact couldn’t be easier.  

Weerapong Chaipuck proves it’s never too late to have a second career especially one based on your passions. After retiring from the medical profession in Thailand, Chaipuck brought his love for travel and photography together. The results are simply stunning as he captures the essence of Asia in countries such as China, Indonesia and Vietnam. Chaipuck truly puts the places and people he encounters in the very best light.

The bottles were covered with latex skin (what aspiring tattoo artists use to practice on) and each  tattooed design took around 20 hours to complete. We need drool bibs because we’re salivating over the finished art work. And a whiskey ginger. We're feeling a bit parched. 

Russian artist, Platonov Pavel, created Wolfchrom, a beautiful, mirrored sculpture. Humans are drawn to dichotomy. The tension between two disparate elements invites curiosity and awe. In this case, nature is reflected in a form that feels sterile and futuristic yet stirs the soul because the wolf is nature and nature is the wolf. Truly inspired art.

Director and filmmaker Matt Bieler made this beautifully shot and edited homage to arguably the greatest rapper ever, Rakim. The short film features narration by the “God MC” dropping knowledge about the connection between art and life. Our only beef? We wish this would be made into a full-length documentary. So dope.
