So I added her this morning (6:55am) March 10, and replied to her story. I wrote “oh wow you have a popsocket on your phone! I have one too!” And she replied “popsockers”. Then I said “I heard you say you’re in LA! I grew up here; how long are you here for?” And she hasn’t messaged back since. It’s now 7:24am. This story is making me uneasy

UPDATE: THERE IS A SNAP ON HER STORY NOT FROM HER. I’M ON MOBILE BUT I HAVE CALLED THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING AND EXPLOITED CHILDREN UPON SEEING IT.

Kennedi is 16 and has autism. Please keep that in mind, especially if you’re contacting her on Snapchat. She may be inundated with messages, which might overwhelm her. She is almost certainly no longer in control of her account. The hashtag #FindKennedi is getting some use on Twitter and people are updating info as they get it. We have to assume that whoever she is with is aware of the social media focus on her right now and may actually be using the info people are posting to stay a step ahead of efforts to locate her. If you feel like you have useful information for law enforcement, share it with them and not online. Do not post her presumed locations, you’re either wrong or you’re right and they know to leave.
