Jason was at a club.. or was in the past, is right now.. Does it really matter? He didn't want to think about everything. Anything, actually. It had been a while since he did anything like this, mainly because a certain Superboy (or was it Superman?) was around. Clarke had some alien invasion he was looking after. Jason won't lie and say he wasn't a bit sad about it. He didn't resent Clarke, really, for it. He doesn't think he has the right anyways. He was just kinda sad. Sad probably wouldn't be the word he'd use but he can't think of anything else right now.
He's alone on this fucking planet. He didn't realise how much he hated that till someone actually filled that hole and then just left.. again. Didn't he promise something to himself along the lines of that he would never get close to anyone again after.. everything. He never does keep his promises to himself. Jason always gets too close and he ends up hurting people and being hurt. Stupid.
He's honestly pathetic for this and being dramatic, a problem. People don't keep problems around. Jason was patrolling more since Clarke wasn't there and ran into a certain bat. Wait, no he doesn't want to think of that, right. It's loud nearby he realises again, bringing his arms up to his ears to cover them before realising they are bleeding. Huh. Oh, right. He was at a club, right now. Nearby. Doesn't matter.
He wanted to take his mind off things and since the cute alien that left wasn't around and said he'd be back... he'd be back... Jason doesn't remember but not today. Is it even the same day? He doesn't want to look outside because it's probably bright. Or maybe not. He doesn't know, he doesn't know anything.
Jason ordered some drinks.. well, not some. Maybe a few bottles? He isn't sure. He stole a few drinks, some other drugs too, anything he could get his hands on. He thinks someone spiked his drink. He knows someone spiked his drink, he watched them and didn't do anything. He watched the same person spike someone else's drink and stole that too.
Then he thinks he got kicked out? That's why he's here? He thinks there was also someone else who might have brought him to this room near the club. Whoever or whatever it was isn't here right now. Jason doesn't know anything. No, wait, he does. His heart isn't beating. Or maybe it's too weak? He still didn't figure out why his arms are bleeding.. That's for future Jason to worry about, he'll probably wait for.. whatever.
Clarke is finally done dealing with this stupid invasion. Seriously, why did they need to send that many aliens at him? None of the others in the JL (if Clarke even counts as a member and not some...asset or whatever. They don't really seem to like him anyways.) decided to help him, so he had to work at it single handedly, which then ended with him actually going to space and wrecking the fuckers up. He did it though, and he's fairly certain he double checked for any comeback troupes or ways they could have latched some hivemind disease or whatever onto earth. Clarke didn't want to have to deal with that honestly, he finds the repetetive nature cheap.
So, he's finally free from Superman duties, and after doing a quick sweep of Metropolis and making sure Luthor isn't deciding to send robots after anyone or whatever, he makes his way back to Gotham. He didn't really check to see where Jason was initially, too tired and just going to his apartment. He's not there however, so he reaches out with super hearing to listen for his heartbeat, which he can't hear either...what? Did he die again? Did something happen?
Clarke frowns to himself before searching harder with both x-ray vision and hearing, and eventually he finds the man in a club. He doesn't look good and Clarke feels a weird anxiety in him that he doesn't usually feel. He speeds over there, not really thinking about changing or anything before he's already half-way there, so he just hauls off his chest plate to hide nearby with his cape, considering the pieces are attached, and throws on a jacket. His ankle and arm cuffs are still on, but he's in a bit of a rush so he doesn't really care.
He finds Jason eventually and approaches slowly since he doesn't seem...all there.
"Jay? Babe? Are you okay?"
He says, looking him over, x-raying for a moment too to see if he has any internal damage. He doesn't seem well, that's all Clarke can really gather.
He asks almost firmly, feeling the heat behind his eyes start to go up in temperature, his eyes turning red.
