Trying to practice drawing tummies, and poor Nico had to be my guinea pig for this one. I had this in my WIPs for a few days, and I finally decided to finish it 💖

People need to really listen to themselves when they are talking. I overheard someone saying that “it’s the worst feeling going overdraft”. I’m sure she didn’t mean it, or at least didn’t understand herself fully, but that’s the problem. First of all you create the problem yourself by going overdraft, it’s not like it’s a natural disaster, a typhoon that takes away your home and tragically sometimes even your loved ones. I highly doubt that going overdraft is worse than being diagnosed with HIV or cancer. Or having no clean water to drink during the heat of summer. This pure ignorance is widely spread in western societies, someone complaining that their Nokia phone is shit, and they want an iPhone, when they really should be glad they have a phone and can communicate with their loved ones, who are living in a protected country where there’s peace and no war. Western people should not feel guilty that they live well, but they shouldn’t forget that they do live well, and they should appreciate it.

It seems like too many westerners (whites), both liberal and conservative, have promoted a dangerous idea of Eurocentrism in which all other non-European societies are inferior. This is a dangerous and false concept that should no longer continue.
