🩰🐏 Barka's Lethal Link Up ⚽🔥
During a heated away match, El Arriette shouted across the midfield. “Smart Mouth! You’re hogging the center!”
“I’m organizing the center, Hard Head.” El Ballerino called back with zero urgency. “Try it sometime. Strategy works wonders.”
“Strategy is for people who can’t score with their face!”
“I’ve seen your face. It shouldn’t be near the ball. You’re just lucky the ball doesn’t have eyes.”
Their teammates groaned. The two spent the entire match arguing, throwing barbs, yet somehow executed a perfect build-up to the winning goal without missing a beat.
I FINALLY HAD ENOUGH TECHNICALI PLAYER PROFILES TO TALK ABOUT THIIIISSSS in each of the Technicali interviews, I've given each player an interest/job that's connected to one of Toni's schemes! It's a fun little easter egg I like adding in :]
How'd you go from IT Support to Technicali’s goalie?
Toni was hosting try-outs super close to my job. I wasn't the best at catching stuff, but I felt I was pretty good and wanted to try. I showed up right after my shift, still in my work clothes, looked like a wreck, and Toni--he scoffed, told me to go home, then he went to pat my shoulder but then like--grabbed it and went "Woah. You're stronger than I expected." He let me try out, and then, well, here I am. _____
A Screenshot edit I made a whiiiiiilllleee ago based off of Benedict B. Bradley's character profile!
I really like drawing him with his big ol' hair, and I like to imagine he needs glasses from time to time.......
GRIMM INTERVIEW - PART 2
Join Maci for another interview about Grimm! This time, they're interviewing a local Feratuvian band who goes into depth about what it's like being a newer Grimm fan, what the indie band scene is like, and possible life brewing within the Cauldron...?
Read about it HERE!!

Quick sketch I made in like 10 minutes after my last post cause I got hit with The Vision
Honestly, I'd be 1000% on Team Benedict for this. Shame on Toni for thinking he could replace an actual professional with AI!
To all the players (it's okay if some are not available to reply):
What's a certain aspect about The Cauldron that you guys favor? Contrariwise, what's something you all dislike about it?
I know that since it's your home turf, it's the place you all like above all else, but is there something about it that miffs you guys? Maybe a suit of armor that coincidentally fell over someone because of its unstable base, and now they've come to hate that particular one, if not the entire corridor it resides in?
I took those,guys,i took those.
(El Matador wouldn't mind showing his photoshoot results.)

Well, damn...
MAN, I really wish we had access to the older comics, so we could see what Supa Strikas was like before they started to put more emphasis on the animated series…
So anyways, here’s a drive of some old comics I scanned a while ago and compiled into their own PDFs on my Supa Strikas focused Google Drive.
Link to the drive here!
In collaboration with @strike-em-down, we have an archive of a bunch of old comics that haven’t been seen online before! There have been some panels here and there, but I can say with full confidence that for many of the panels we’ve seen, the archive will have the comics that came from them. As well, these comics from the folder are going onto the Supa Stars website! Please check it out!
There are 38 comics in the drive, with 4 comics that have been seen before. One of them being Own Ghoul (#119), and the other three being Building Spirit (#89), Just Desserts (#97), and Trapped! (#98). The last three mentioned were scanned and translated by @nenemii, but I will say that the version that Nemi has scanned is very different from the comics I scanned, seeing as some panels are missing from Nemi’s version.
(Nenemii's scan on the left, mine on the right)
I do believe Nenemii’s version is different because it was released in the Philippine Star, which is a newspaper, so it had to be condensed in a certain way to fit in the newspaper.
Speaking of condensing, you will see that most of the PDFs have the word “compressed” in the title, and that’s just because when I originally made a PDF for each of those comics, the data was so high that it didn’t preview the cover page properly in the drive. So I apologize if the quality isn’t up to par, as well for some of the pages looking off. When I was scanning the comics, some of them were kind of fragile to handle, and no matter how many times I tried to straighten the page before scanning it, it still always came out a bit crooked.
Also, a lot of the comics will have the same ads that repeat in certain places. While I had thought about not scanning every page with an ad, I do believe in the preservation and archiving of old media. I also believe this gives the reader an idea of what messages were important to Strika Entertainment back then, with ads such as road safety and getting tested for HIV, I’m sure these comics were mostly aimed for kids, but they definitely also targeted the adults in the family too (especially with the amount of Spurs restaurant ads in every comic). There are some comics that have a double spread that isn’t an ad or a contest, but I felt I couldn’t skip those either.
Either way, this is something I didn’t think I would be able to do, let alone think this could ever happen in my life time. Ever since I became a fan of this series, I dreamed of reading these older comics, but also to re-read some of them. Back before the website was changed to fit with Moonbug’s branding, there was a time when the website would put up the comics for everyone to read.
And I loved them all! I honest to god wished some of those comics became episodes, like one of my favourite comics Rooftop Shake Up! (#95). I do believe this is the comic that got me interested in looking more into the series, while the Communication Blok episode from Season 1 is what made me a fan.
I want to thank Strikes for being the one to encourage me to join them on this endeavour, because while I didn’t have hope at the time, they had that optimism and hope that I couldn’t turn away from. And I also want to thank Shirls ( @yanxioustrikas ) for going over the comics with me and them, to make sure nothing was out of place, upside down or duplicated in the PDFs.
And I want to thank all of you guys for taking the time to read this post, along with Strike’s post. I’m very excited to share these with all of you, as I know many of you have been wanting to see what the older comics looked like. This is the proof of their existence, and I hope you all have a wonderful time reading them all.
Also, small PS...
SIIIIGHHHHHHHH......
SIGHHHHHHH sometimes I’ll use the Wayback Machine to check out what the old Supa Strika website used to look like before it all got taken down. A lot of it looked really cool but I think the biggest and most tragic loss for me has to be the “Comic” page of the site. They had a ton of issues on there you could flip through and I’m sooooo sad that the archived page isn’t functional and not too many comics were saved……………
so anyways, @abyss-strikas and I worked together to collect and archive a bunch of old Supa Strikas comics that you can flip through on the new “Comics” tab on the Supa Stars website!!:
This is something I never thought would even be a POSSIBILITY of us having on our website, and it wouldn’t have BEEN possible had it not been for my amazing friend Abyss and everything she’s done throughout this journey.
We have comics ranging ALLLLLLL the way back from Stirkas’ early days, when Supa Strikas had VASTLY different players and oppositions, stories that haven’t been seen in FOREVER, all the way to the more recent comics that have the iconic characters we know and love today!
(When you click on a comic thumbnail, this is where it'll take you ^ !)
SOME QUESTIONS (and answers!):
“How did you get these comics?” - Through insane luck and timing, I won’t even lie. I happened to be at the right time and place and met some very wonderful people who were able to help send these comics to us.
“How long did this take to do?” - Much longer than anticipated. Coding the page took a hot minute, but actually RECEIVING the comics was the longest [and scariest] part.
“Aren’t some of these comics in that one Google Drive/shared by this one user?” - Nope! We can assure you everything that’s on this Comic Page is 100% ours. The collection we got just so happened to have some duplicates that are already known throughout the community. However, while we’re on the topic, I would like to shout out some users and link to some posts, such as @nenemii, who’s a wonderful member of the fandom that’s gone out of her way to scan and translate multiple Strika Comics: Trapped, Dooma's Day, Just Desserts, Building Spirit, and Hypno Test! @strika-archyvez, who’s shared a TON of great Supa Strika facts and panels from the older strika comics [and what got me insanely interested in the older comics in the first place], and @crimsoncognito, who has collected and shared a Google Drive containing a ton of archived Strika comics from the later 2010s! Thank you for sharing so much Strika stuff with the community :]
OTHER NOTES:
TRANSLATIONS - Some of the comics we received were in different languages. We’ve taken the time to translate them to the best of our ability, though there were certainly a few rough spots here and there [there’s one issue. I’m not gonna say which one. But Klaus says something kind of out of left field. We triple checked the translation and apparently that IS what he said.] Also, some of the translated comics had to be flipped, as the original publications were made to be read right to left, so if you notice some numbers or labels facing the wrong way, that’s why!
NAMES, DATES, AND ISSUE # - We tried our best to label and date these comics, however some didn’t have names, and others didn’t have dates. We worked with what we had + used the archived Strika Site for reference.
THE VERY FIRST COMIC - The comic you see on the top left corner of the first row, despite having text inside stating it got published in 2006, we believe might not be the case. Not only is the art style drastically different from the other 2006 comics, but when you read the story, you’ll see it’s VERY early on in Shakes’ career, and it references a real world tragedy that took place in 2002. However, we do not know when it COULD have possibly been published. This is why it’s been listed as “Possibly prior to 2006” on the site!
SIDE NOTE BOUT THE FIRST COMIC - It’s file size is larger than the other comics, so it takes several extra seconds to fully load! Wanted to give a proper heads up about that!
WEBSITE’S HAVING ISSUES/SOMETHING’S NOT LOADING? - If you’re ever having problems with the site or if something isn’t loading [or if neocities blips randomly….] then don’t worry!! Abyss has gone out of her way to archive and put everything on a google drive which you can check out here! ARCHIVED OLD COMICS

Thank you so much for taking the time to read all of this, and being so patient for this surprise we’ve been working on for some time. I want to thank both @yanxioustrikas and Abyss for helping with the testing of the website to make sure everything was functioning alright, and I want to sincerely thank Abyss again for everything she’s done throughout this, from the scanning, to helping with the translations, none of this would’ve been possible without her, and I’m so glad to have a friend like her in the Supa Strikas fandom.
It’s so exciting to get to share so many comics with you all that were once considered lost media, with the only proof of their existence being old pictures of covers or snippets of pages. Please enjoy reading them, and thank you again for your time.
Happy Father’s Day to Supa Strikas Coach ⚡️⚽️
For all the struggles and stress that the team put him through everytime before a match 🏟️ Let’s all appreciate coach for everything he done for the team 🫶👏👏
Thank you @supastrikascentral for this idea ✉️ I’m sorry it’s late but I’m finally done & proud of it.
