As many of you might’ve noticed, I haven’t been very active on either of my blogs for the past few weeks. Even though I’ve had a lot of time to write, I just don’t have the motivation. I don’t feel as confident in my writing as I used to be. I cringe every time because I spend hours writing and rewriting them to achieve this unattainable standard of perfection, which further drains my energy and muse. I rarely ever lose my Dave muse, but every time I put his thoughts down, it doesn’t sound right. 

I’ve also been busy with real life stuff. My day is packed with work, family, and friends, so when I finally have time to write, I’m too exhausted. I hate half-assing anything, especially my threads. 

So I think it’s best that I take a little break from my blogs for a while. I’ll practice writing some stuff every now and then, but they won’t be posted on them. Now, I can’t say how long this’ll last. Maybe it’ll be a week, or perhaps a month. What matters is that I want to get my inspiration back, the same fire that I had when I first started this blog a month ago. In the meantime, I’ll shove some stuff into the queue, which is set at 3 posts a day.
