From childhood all the way to adulthood, Raven has never been what you would consider a morning person. She’s usually the last out of bed, and today is no exception. It’s only when the sunlight pouring through the bedroom window makes the bed uncomfortably hot that Raven actually gets up.
Wrapping her crimson bathrobe around her body and tying the sash, Raven stretches and makes her way towards the nearest sounds of activity in the house. “Summer?” she calls out, unsure if what she’s hearing is her wife or the girls bouncing around.
Summer loved her daughters, but they were a lot to handle in the morning when all she planned to do was try to surprise her wife with breakfast. By the time Raven gets up, Yang is being chased out of the kitchen and Ruby isn't too far behind, looking like they successfully got into sweets they shouldn't have as Summer shoos them away with a broom.
"Good morning, Rae." She sighs softly, but addresses her with a small smile, eyes still staring sharply at the girls that manage to make their escape. "Did we wake you?"
