You Are My Sunshine

     mallory hadn’t really been sure that the two were ever going to be able to get back to a good place of ever being more than friends after what she had done.  in all honestly the blonde wouldn’t have blamed him if he had come to the decision of just remaining friends,  however she isn’t going to protest against johnny’s suggestion of getting back together.  malloy knows that this time if either of them fuck up there will be no coming back from it since this first time had been a hard enough strain on them.    ‘ if that is what you meant by getting back together,  --- i won’t be against the idea of being your girlfriend again. ‘   a soft smile forms upon the blonde’s lips. 

       ‘ it wasn’t only johnny and i talking about how obvious it was,  the whole group of our other friends also have seen it.  all though we all haven’t hung out like we use to doesn’t mean that it isn’t clear that chase is madly in love with you flora.   i’m not saying your boyfriend is some evil guy or anything but he himself obviously knows how much chase is into you.  the two guys hate each other and how does he get back at him the hardest but being with the girl he knows chase is in love with. ‘    mallory feels a bit shady by bringing up the fact that her relationship could possibly built on a plan to hurt the other male.    ‘ it is more than obvious that it happened because the two of you wanted to be with one another on that level. did you feel something for him while the two of you were getting busy?  ‘    as much as herself and the male may not always see eye to eye she doesn’t want to see her best friend throwing away a goof opportunity to be with someone that mallory knows will take good care of flora.    ‘ i know that you didn’t,  -- it just stings a lot because it reminds me of not only how selfish i was being but how much i hurt the one guy that would likely give me the world if i asked him to. ‘    a small sigh escapes past the blonde’s lips,   ‘ if that is what you think is best.  i just don’t want it to create a bigger mess than it already has become. ‘ 

      chase wanted to believe that this is a moment that flora herself had fantasized about,  but it seemed more than clear that it wasn’t.  this hadn’t been the reaction that he had been expecting after the two had crossed the line that best friends usually don’t.  maybe he also had a little hope that it had worked out between their two other friends mallory and johnny that it could be the same for them.    ‘ no it didn’t,  but last time i checked you weren’t telling me to stop it either.  ‘  he doesn’t understand why flora is acting this way when she had seemed to be just as much wanting it to happen as he had been.   ‘ let me guess you’re just riddling with guilt that your jackass boyfriend is going to be upset that you found pleasure somewhere else that wasn’t him. ‘   annoyance in his tone as now he grows more frustrated with the situation.    ‘  i don’t think it matters what it was to me because you’ve already made your mind up and i am not going to waste my breathe. ‘ 

      ‘ this isn’t only about the fact that she hurt you,   but she has like the biggest mouth when it comes to keeping things hush, hush or she sticks herself in people’s business that she doesn’t need to.   i’ve always not had the strongest liking for mallory even before the whole cheating thing but i got through it for yours and flora’s sake. ‘   chase doesn’t see the point in him trying to hide his feelings towards mallory even if he knows that it is going to upset the other male.   ‘ yeah sure, flora is dating the one person i hate the most in life but that doesn’t mean she went out of her way on purpose to hurt me.  obviously the asshole roped her in with some kind of charm.  mallory on the other hand knew what she was doing and i know if you ask her she will admit that she knew that her actions would hurt you. ‘    even if the request of johnny making to have chase to stop speaking ill of the blonde he couldn’t and he doesn’t want him to use flora to compare situations.    ‘ i was kind of waiting to see if she would reach out to me before bringing it up,  she hasn’t so i’m assuming that she still stands on it being a mistake. ‘   a small sigh escapes him,   ‘ it was pretty great  !   it could be something i’d like to get use to if she’d ever realize what a dick her boyfriend is and to realize there is something there between us.   so, you two hooked up first that doesn’t mean anything when she spent the summer allowing some other guy have his way with her.  ‘ 

       ansley has felt like she has already been rejected by so many people in her life, that all she could hope for was that it would be different with finn.  she can’t help but feel stupid for thinking that he would feel the same way back for her when he had been very clear from the start that it was just meant to be sex and nothing more. in the beginning the blonde easily agreed to it because she didn’t think she’d develop the feelings she has for him back than.  being in love with someone that isn’t family is something new for ansley,  -- of all people she picked to fall in love with it would be someone that couldn’t return those feelings.  for some reason finn’s rejection hurt worse than any others,  ‘  i think so. ‘     she can’t think about not seeing him almost on a daily but being around him right now causes her too much pain.    ‘ i’m stupid to think you’d ever feel that way for me. ‘ 

       ‘ as much as you’d likely not want to hear it,  i get that trait from my old man. i’m sure you’ve witnessed how hard it is to convince him of something or how hard it is to change his mind once he is set on something. ‘   being stubborn isn’t exactly a trait that sabrina enjoys inheriting from her father since there has been many times that she had found herself disguised in the actions he had done.  a soft smile forms upon the brunette’s lips at his words and there is no way she can argue with him.    ‘ i think this is the only taste of freedom that i’ve ever actually had,  and i guess that i should thank you for that because if you hadn’t come along than god knows how long i’d be stuck there or how long before my father would use me as a pond into getting married to some other family that he does business with. ‘   sabrina knew how much her father invested into his business and he’d do anything to keep it afloat even if that meant marrying his only daughter off.    ‘  well, there isn’t any man here you need need to worry about or be jealous of. ‘
