Hello friends! It's been a long time!

Today I'm releasing a 1.0 version of the save that has been a long time coming.

It includes a revamp of Hanford on Bagley, recreated as Whiterun Hold from Skyrim, along with most of my Skyrim conversions.

Note: The save is not the complete vision. It's very much a work in progress still. But... life has unfortunately taken over from my cc creation, so I wanted to release what I have. There may very well be future versions to come from me, but if not, this save is available for anyone who wants to take it and run with it as they wish. Most of the settlements and buildings are fully complete shells, with landscaping and partial furnishings. A few lots are more bare bones. Status of each is in the download description + instructions on Patreon.

Along the bending river through Henford with its great green plains and woodlands, lies Finchwick - a bustling merchant town ready for you to start your legacy.

The year is 1381. Peasants are revolting. Will the noble class hold on to their power?

With the release of the Royalty and Legacy pack I’ve had an itch to start a new decades challenge beginning in the middle ages. However this is always such a daunting task - starting with nothing in a world that doesn’t quite fit. So I decided to learn the TOOL mod and decorated the landscape of this starter medieval save file to match my wild medieval fantasies. Using very limited cc and 3 packs (cottage living, horse ranch and life & death) - This is an empty but decorated save file of a medieval Henford on Bagley and it is ready for you to make your own. Made for simmers starting The Ultimate Decades Challenge or if you like me just want to live a quiet medieval life in immersive surroundings.

All pre-made lots have been deleted, a blank canvas surrounded by idyllic medieval townhouses. The save file uses the Blowtorch mod and a few CC deco items by @simverses - all links to downloads are in my patreon linked below.

I’ll will forever be grateful for Simverses making all my medieval dreams come true in the Sims. If you are new to the Ultimate Decades Challenge I highly recommend you check out their cc and overrides. The wide silhouette of the early century started to slim come the mid century, and it slimmed even more so come the 1770s. Style in general was becoming more simplified, leading to fashion that exemplified the new 'casual' aesthetic. The habit à la française came into mode for men, showcasing the standing collar that would carry over into the early 1800s. The front skirt of the coat started being cut back, exposing the front of the breeches. This resulted in waistcoats becoming shorter and breeches becoming tighter to exaggerate the new silhouette. In direct contrast to this move toward simplicity, dandies outfitted themselves in eye-catching and visually lavish ensembles. Their style loudly announced their cosmopolitan, fashion-centric outlook, and their sartorial choices blurred the line between masculine and feminine.

We've now finally hit the point in the historical timeline where I can represent my home country! While the early white settlement of Australia is typically associated with the convicts that were shipped to penal colonies in the newly discovered country, by the late 1700s free settlers were also making it home. Many of these settlers built homesteads and farmed the land for survival. It was a tough life and their practical clothing reflected as such.

The end of the 18th century saw a great deal of political unrest, most notably in France. The French Revolution had a huge impact on clothing as it became increasingly important to outwardly show your republican support via your stylistic choices. Waistcoats were still very much a part of a man's everyday wardrobe, and often times they were decorated to show political sympathies. The 1790s saw the rise of the sans-culottes - working class men who shunned the wearing of breeches in favour of loose trousers. These were often paired with a red wool cap known as a bonnet phrygian, which signified the wearer's hardcore dedication to the revolution. CC links under the cut.

Malcolm was supposed to make it back by now, but there appeared to be a delay in his arrival. Maybe his ship got off course? Cassandra was nervous about whatever his reaction may be to her absence once he got home, but for whatever reason the Watcher was sparing her for the moment. But, would she be spared once the Goths and Landgraabs found out what really happened?
