Hello friends! It's been a long time!

Today I'm releasing a 1.0 version of the save that has been a long time coming.

It includes a revamp of Hanford on Bagley, recreated as Whiterun Hold from Skyrim, along with most of my Skyrim conversions.

Note: The save is not the complete vision. It's very much a work in progress still. But... life has unfortunately taken over from my cc creation, so I wanted to release what I have. There may very well be future versions to come from me, but if not, this save is available for anyone who wants to take it and run with it as they wish. Most of the settlements and buildings are fully complete shells, with landscaping and partial furnishings. A few lots are more bare bones. Status of each is in the download description + instructions on Patreon.

We're getting closer! Most of the large furniture items have been converted. The next week will be focusing on clutter and making everything feel more cosy. v1 of the save will include all of Whiterun Hold (aka a Henford-on-Bagley redux). From there I will start to release save updates as the rest of the WIP world areas are finished (Winterhold, Solitude, Riften, etc.).

As I move through conversions, I'm placing a big emphasis on making sure as many objects as possible are functional. All cabinets are either dressers or bookshelves. The apiary has already been released. And all counters are either functional bars or sales tables.

The builds have gone slightly to the back-burner this week while I'm busy creating the furniture I need to create their interiors, but every now and then I can't resist adding to them.

Hello everyone! A few of you have been asking how the save file is progressing so I thought I would share a short update. I have some good news and some not-so-good news.

Let’s start with the not-so-good news first.. the updates have been kicking my butt. Every time we’ve had an update in the last few months my game breaks and I have to sort through enormous amounts of cc to find the culprit. Not only is this a massive headache, it made me realise that there is simply no feasible way to release the save file publicly using as much cc as it does.  This is a perfect time to also shoutout my amazing, sweet, and very patient testers for also helping me realise I was insane to think 20GB+ of cc was a good idea.

So that said, I have decided to overhaul the save to be almost entirely CC-FREE. Any cc I use will be my own and it will be the absolute bare minimum needed to get this baby published. 

The good news is, surprisingly, I think it’s turning out even better than the full cc version. The world feels more seamless and alive somehow. Plus, my laptop no longer feels like the sun when I do a play test. 

Now, what does this mean in terms of a release? Well, good that you asked. 1. Expect Skyrim-inspired creations + individual lot releases in the coming months. I'm going to start by releasing as much as I can, when I can. 2. By the end of December, I will release a v1 of the save no matter what. Pinky promise.
