Chapter 9:(idk again sorry)

After this night he xuan would make sure his fish's stay's at his water's, shi qingxuan on his side was better After a good night sleep he was all back to being the energetic Ghost he became except these time's he would often dance to summon the air though he had been told to keep it down as he xuan wouldnt want to attract some random "hero god's" qingxuan didnt wanted to get caught either what would the god's think if they Saw him like that now,

So he tried to keep it down but he couldnt resist it very long After all wind was his element he Always had this friend beside's him except when he was a beggar but these night's he had been dancing there he wished it would answer once again, now it did its there its back

SQX:"hey! Say he xuan!"

HX:"hm?" Looking over at shi qingxuan who had still been dancing with the fan

SQX:"why was your fish there? Its not your water's right? It would be black otherwise" tilting his head a little bit

HX:"well you're n'or wrong n'or right, it is my water's since this river is one of the two that are connected to mine however my water could stay black only if you put it in a jar otherwise out of the zone i controle it is normal plain water, the type of water your brother loved" he added crossing and rolling his eye's

Shi qingxuan stayed silent for a bit to that before talking again "soooo i could get black water?"

HX:"yes, you could"

Chapter 8:a burst of wind

In the past few weeks he xuan would try training shi qingxuan but its never easy to train someone who Can quickly change their mind on somethin else at these Times he xuan would either pinch his ear's or throw some water on him but After some week's of that he xuan had to go back to his duties and by that he had to go back to his territory something was wrong he didnt know what yet so he would do round's of check up here and there in the day atleast it gave him more Time with his fish's of course it also meant that he saw hua cheng for some and hua cheng loooved trying to make him angry of course he would succeed and get kicked out

Since he xuan was busy shi qingxuan on his side was bored out alone so he'd go daily in the forest exploring it deeper everytime he'd go there of course he'd go visit xie lian sometimes but xie lian isnt a Ghost and probably never will be he has to attend to the mortal's and do his own thing's

After a while of exploring the forest sqx had found a small ravin it was deep but he could hear the sound of water down there guessing there's probably a river down there it was getting late though so he decided to go back home and rest for the night

The next day he went to the village seeing that their food storage was again getting emptyed we know by who but he couldnt just complain and tell him to eat less he has Always ate the amount of eight people if not more because of it he passed his morning to the beginning of afternoon getting food not because it was heavy but because he had again got caught by the clothe's and jewelry's

Complaining on his way back that he shouldnt have looked at the clothe's and jewelry's and that he shouldve just took the food and go back home not surprisingly the house was still empty when he got back to put the food in the storage imediatly After he took the fan and ran off into the forest once again

The Sun was still up enough when he got to the ravin he looked down wondering how he'd get down there before remembering that he is dead and that these kind of thing's were easy task's

So qingxuan jumped down but landed on his bad leg's which made him known that because of his decision he was now in pain and fell down it may be the only Time he wished he had a walking stick but he was on Sand it probably wouldnt have been very usefull

He got up and tried his best to walk despite limping the wall was a good help

After a little bit it was getting dark when suddenly he Heard a noise, a noise coming from the river he looked back stopping in his track it was a really Bad time to get attacked by something, he didnt see anything moving so he continued his walk finally seeing a way out even if he would have to climb a bit

When suddenly he heard the noise again and turned back this time he Saw it, it was one of he xuan's Big fish skeleton jumping at him mouth open ready to bite shi qingxuan, he closed his eye's and imediatly openned his fan swinging it once thinking he did nothing but a small breeze but when he openned his eye's again he Saw the fish getting pushed back in the river, taking his chance he ran as best as he could and climbed up, when the fish tried to bite him again he was too high up for him and fell back

Sqx imediatly went to the nearby Big tree sitting down before lifting his arm's up happy to have manage to get out of this situation on his own to then realise he really summoned the air again, it had answered him and protected him from this fish

Feeling too tired After all this and not wanting to bear the pain of his leg more he decided to rest there for the night

Earlier today on he xuan's side, while doing his round in and around the water checking the barriers he putted down

After that he fed his fish's and counted them noticing one was missing and wondered why he'd go off like that, there's only 2 river's connected to his territory following the first one he only stumbled upon a peacefull lake with normal fish's no Big skeleton one so he went back and followed the other one stumbling upon his fish, he of course took Care of it putting it back to his place and noticed footprint's on the sand to then be mixed with handprint's climbing not like he cared but he still went to check it out

Finding shi qingxuan near a tree sighing at the sight waking him up of course thinking he was getting attacked again he swinged his fan and projected he xuan against a tree, qingxuan got up running to he xuan forgetting his leg to then fall face flat on the ground

SQX:"are you ok? Im sorry i thought it was the fish again" he said lifting his body up to sit down looking at he xuan

HX:"dont worry im fine hua cheng does worse" he paused looking at qingxuan which his clothe's were dirty from the Sand but more importantly he seemed to hold his Bad leg "its hurting? What did you do this Time? I doubt my fish was able to bite you even just once."

Shi qingxuan chuckled a bit "well i- jumped down and landed on it so yeah it hurt's and are you kidding? Your fish almost bit me twice! If i hadnt the wind i wouldve got eaten! Im too pretty to die chewed up by a fish!"

HX:"well i took Care of him, anyway's Can you walk? I dont wanna stay outside like a poor man"

SQX:"is that a way to mock how i used to sleep on rock cold ground's before i die?"

HX:"kind of" walking away in the direction of the house

SQX:"hey! Wait for me!" Getting up flinching when putting pressure on the leg limping trying to follow he xuan

He xuan then stopped and looked back for once looking at shi qingxuan who was having a hard time walking

SQX:"sorry- i'll be there in some i just-.. hurted my leg, some dumb decision of mine again y'know how it is" laughing a bit embarrassed

He xuan stared for a bit before walking toward's qingxuan turning his back infront him and kneeling down "Come on get on before i change my mind."

Qingxuan hesitated but still got on he xuan's back "sorry i'll think more next Time"

HX:"you better because this is a one time thing, next time you'll use a walking stick" starting to walk back home "you should rest."

SQX:"but i'll bother you more then"

HX:"worry more about you less about me."

SQX:"...ok..but i'll still worry 'bout you weither you like it or not" yawning

HX:"whatever its not my problem" looking back seeing that sqx fell asleep pretty quickly, After some minute's of walking they got home and he xuan putted sqx to bed before going to sleep himself

Chapter 7:(idk tbh)

Qingxuan had went outside to take some fresh air After lastnight, walking more away into the forest

He xuan on his side was making breakfast being a bit distant thinking he caused this nightmare to him he may be dead and a Ghost now but it wont erase what he went through because he xuan's and shi wudu's action's

After some hour's around in the afternoon he xuan decided to talk to him but not about what happened but about more Ghost stuff

SQX:"what? You're gonna teach me? Teach me what?" Tilting his head confused After all he's a grown man

HX:"yes, i dont know if you noticed but pretty much any ghost's have something..'special' like their animal features or well for me controlling water ghost's usually find out what their 'special' thing is soon after having their body's materialised but since you're kind of, a peacefull Ghost." Crossing his arm's shutting his eye's "we'll have to find it by trying anything out After all a Ghost life isnt all happy one day you'll probably get attacked and i cant Always bé there," he stopped looking at sqx

SQX:"why would you want to always be there for me he xiong? Im sure i can learn it easy it'll be a piece of cake!" Lifting his fist's to his chest enthusiast and sure of himself

He xuan looked away to think, qingxuan creeped closer poking his cheek like old time's

SQX:"what are yooouu thinking?"

He xuan just turned his head looking at him "nothing, stop poking me its not Time for this." He sighed while sqx chuckled with a bright smile

HX:"what's so funny?"

SQX:"your face is funny, and squishy"

This Time he xuan grabbed his hand so he stops poking him continuing with "i think we should go shopping again"

Looking confused "sure if you want"

With that he xuan dragged sqx by the hand back to the market where jewel's and clothe's sort of thing's are

SQX:"y'know you Can let go of my hand i wont trip my leg doesnt hurt and its not like i'll run away either, also why are we back here"

Hx ignoring continuing to walk stopping infront a fan selling shop "choose one think of it as like a gift from me"

SQX:"he xiong you're acting weird today are you ok? Do you have a fiever?" Gettin infront of he xuan putting his free hand on his forehead

HX:"i aint sick i just had an idea beside's you're not gonna refuse a fan right? I know how you loved to use that thing everytime you would dance to summon the air"

SQX:"fine but let go of my hand"

After that sqx looked at all of the fan's he loved some but nothing felt like his past fan's he would buy some pretty fan's use them one Time and go back to the fan him and his brother had it was the only one he needed the only one he wanted but that same fan had got teared up by the same person that's right beside's him

SQX:"i dont really want any of them..i liked the old one"

HX:"you still like it even After your own brother who gave you it tried to kill you?"

SQX:"maybe he had a good reason?" Looking at he xuan which he Saw scoff probably by annoyance

Since sqx refused to buy any they had went back home After a walk around for the next day's he xuan would be busy going back to his territory sqx would wonder why he goes away for so long but he didnt dared to ask and just stay silent he still had xie lian's company he also counted hua cheng but it was clear as day that he was around only for his majesty

That night After walkin home sqx saw from a far he xuan's silhouette in the filled full of flower's with the full Moon and their house behind it seemed like he xuan had been waiting him

SQX:"what are you doing here at this hour alone? I mean beside's me i Always see you alone hehe-"

HX:"i just thought you'd be home more early and i got a gift for you" handing a fan with black silver ish detail's

Sqx took the fan openning it seeing that its his old fan a bright smile grew on his face hugging he xuan out of happiness

SQX:"ah sorry no hug's" he said but he xuan hugged back a bit which surprised sqx

HX:"..sorry for last time at the market when i got mad you're just really annoying sometime's"

SQX:"he xiong! That's not a way to apologies!..but its fine i forgive you dont worry about it your really silly sometimes he xiong" laughing

HX:"im not silly, anyway's i made diner alone since you werent there yet Come on"

Chapter 6: Trauma

On the walk to the house they were both silent especially qingxuan, seeing how upset he xuan had got upset about him going off to look at some jewel's and accessorie's he had sounded very annoyed about it even his face had shown what looked to be anger mixed with annoyance back there

Despite that he xuan still told qingxuan that he will be the one to cook tonight but that he Can help if he want's, to which he did he didnt wanted to stay by doing nothing but watch, it was too boring for his liking, though he cutted his finger by chopping some veggie's, he dealt with the injurie and put a lil piece of his bandage's around his cutted finger it didnt seemed to have bringed any of he xuan's attention to it, he seemed unbothered and focused on their diner cooking

Nevertheless it didnt stop him from continuing on helping to Cook, After a little while they ate, in silence..again it was getting too boring for shi qingxuan he tried to think of something to talk about, but he couldnt even dare look at he xuan's face again yet ever since how he xuan grabbed him and looked at him, just the picture of this what happened was making his hand's shake on instinct's

After eating shi qingxuan decided to take a little bath not only to clean himself but also to try and relax and not think too much 'bout what happened, he xuan on his side just went to his bedroom even if he didnt seem really tired but he probably just didnt wanted to be bothered

After some minute's shi qingxuan came out the bathroom walking to his room keeping just his inner robe and laying down using his outer robe as like a blanket, closing his eye's shut trying to fall asleep, it wasnt too hard with the help of the soothing sound of wind, tree's and insect's singing

Soon he found himself in a black void and walked for a little bit until he started hearing chain's sound's, looking at his wrist's and ankle's seeing that he was chained up

Soon after he'd found himself on his knee's arm's chained up with his brother right infront of him, running to him to try and take his life but quickly being stopped and pinned to the ground by a dark figure with glowing golden eye's enraged against his brother, all shi qingxuan could speak out of his mouth was his former friend old, no not old but Fake name while crying begging him to stop this none sense that he couldnt comprehend After minute's, a crack Can be heard the crack of a bone and flesh getting teared appart with blood dripping on the ground and a terrifying strong scream filled with pain and fear coming from shi qingxuan, seeing his brother's beheaded lifeless body on the ground and his head being held by his hair's in the hand of the black ghost king.

Openning his eye's quickly after his body shaking and looking around seeing the same golden eye's looking at him, but he didnt seem mad or even in rage, shi qingxuan was confused and completely terrified barely able to breath, he xuan sat there not really knowing what to do he grabbed one of qingxuan's hand's gently to make sure he know's he's there

They stood there for some good hour's with the cry's of shi qingxuan filling the empty sound of the house 'til he was more than tired from crying and his panick and fell asleep again, soon the sun rising lighting everything around with his ray's of warm sunlight, waking up shi qingxuan which he obviously had his eye's hurting from the cry's and rubbed them slightly and looked to his side seeing he xuan with his eye's closed still sitting beside's him, with his hand still holding his seeming like he wasnt planning on letting go 'til he felt better

Chapter 5: a start

Just a few day's had pass by however they hadnt really talked they mostly tried to clean the house since it was abandonned nobody had took Care of it for atleast the past year's, he xuan would build back what was broken while qingxuan would clean and help bringing what is needed to repair what was broken

Shi qingxuan was planning to get some more wood plank's from a nearby village some feet's away, dozed in his thought's he xuan came toward's the table putting a bowl of rice infront himself and infront shi qingxuan

HX:"what are you thinking about?" Sitting down looking at his overfilled bowl before starting to eat the rice

SQX:"huh? Oh, i thought that i should probably go at the village get some wood plank's, why? Do you wanna Come?" Takin his bowl and eating looking at the ghost king

Thinking about it he xuan continued silently eating not even looking away from his meal qingxuan got closer to he xuan after a little bit tilting his head "he xuuaaaaan! Answer me!" Exclaiming in a annoyed tone

He xuan sighed "fine i'll come we do need to restock food i dont wanna die from starvation" sayin lookin at the kitchen then at qingxuan that had sat back down with his arm's crossed

SQX:"we cant die from starvation even if we Can digest and taste the food we eat also you're the one that eat's a lot so you'll get the food's!" Putting his fist's against his thigh's

HX:"dont you dare waste money on robes or even jewelry even less make-up" he answered back finishing his bowl taking qingxuan bowl

SQX:"hey! I dont waste money, and that's my food!"

HX:"you werent eating it" eating the bowl of rice with a side smile

Qingxuan defeated and wasnt really hungry either didnt complain and let he xuan eat his bowl soon they washed their bowl's before going out walking toward's the little village shi qingxuan seemed happy smiling brightly just like when they used to go anywhere together however he xuan looked neutral but more like on his guard's

Once they arrived to the village they separated he xuan gave enough money to qingxuan so he Can buy the plank's and extra thing's if he wanted to

Qingxuan bought the plank's he wanted he wasnt strong enough to take them all at once though one of the fact's that had made the heavenly emperor make him the wind master, as such he went to where the food was getting selled to find he xuan

Finding a man dressed entirely black couldnt be that hard after all, but instead of being easy it felt like searching a needle in hay

Getting exhausted and putting too much on his bad leg he decided to take a break crossing his arm's angrily "if i find him i'll punch him." He exclaimed raising his head with a pouting face while some people passing by found him a bit odd to talk outloud alone

Not long after qingxuan felt a shadow over his head and openned his eye's seeing he xuan that had leaned above

HX:"who are you gonna punch?" Raising an eyebrow

SQX:"he xuan dont scare me like that! And i need your help with the plank's before i punch you" looking away still pouting

HX:"you Can still try to punch me but you're just a new defenseless Ghost that hasnt even tried out his spiritual power, anyway's let's get these plank's and go home i got the food." Holding the bag filled full with food and starting to walk toward's where the plank's merchant is supposed to be shi qingxuan followed right behind

When they got there he xuan took the plank's and looked behind when he was about to say something but noticed that shi qingxuan wasnt behind him anymore annoyed he went out of the village to make a portal array bringing everything he had to their house to then imediatly go back to search for him annoyed

While that shi qingxuan was looking at some accesories seeing a hair pin in the form of wave's

Old lady:"do you wish to buy it?"

SQX:"what? No i dont think i will"

Old lady:"such a pretty face deserve to have pretty accesories" she said smiling doing a grsture to ask qingxuan to lean his head which he did and she putted the hair pin in his hair

SQX:"you cant possibly just give it away!- i'll buy it-" getting stopped in his talking by the old lady that raised a hand infront his head

Old lady:"i gift it to you dont worry about it young man" smiling gently

SQX:"uh- alright well thank you lady!" Smiling back and bowing politely before walking away happy

He xuan was stomping mad in fact if now someone had to punch someone it would be him and his target would be obvious he even started asking people if they saw shi qingxuan around a little while even asking the same old lady that shi qingxuan had talked to After atleast an hour he finally Saw him from a far still looking at jewel's and all kind of thing's he'd typically find pretty rushing over and grabbing shi qingxuan arm

HX:"where were you?! I searched you everywhere and i told you not to buy jewel's its not necessary for now." Sounding more mad than neutral

Qingxuan laughed awkwardly "well i just thought i could take a look it doesnt hurt, i suppose i did forgot to tell you that i was going around here, im sorry" looking away smiling awkwardly

HX:"let's just go home" he rolled his eye's walking away "this time follow," letting qingxuan's arm go

With that they both got home and putted the food in the food storage and repaired the house more with the wood plank's

Chapter 3: new's

FX:"if he's dead why would he be there then? I mean it doesnt seem like him to want revenge"

Xie lian didnt really know what to do or say but he decided he'd still help shi qingxuan if he need help on that note mu qing and feng xing left soon after,

A little while later shi qingxuan came out with the New fresh robe on that xie lian gave him it had only one color but he seemed content with it, they've continued the day by chatting catching up while at the same Time shi qingxuan would help xie lian with chores and such soon enough the Sun started setting down for the day

Sqx:"between do you know if uh, hua cheng's gonna Come?" Looking at xie lian

XL:"he probably will why? Do you need something? I could try to help you" looking back at shi qingxuan with a gentle smile

Sqx:"ah- uh- well i dont think you could help me honestly, dont take it against you though!" He said a bit awkwardly, a silence then took place until he spoke again "actually could you ask hua cheng to bring he xuan? I wanna start over our friendship and make it up for what my brother did to him because of me but i know hua cheng wouldnt even want to help me" looking straight at xie lian with a determined look keeping his bright smile on sure of himself

He answered concerned, shi qingxuan just nodded and smiled at his Friend, xie lian went on and prepared their diner which shi qingxuan was fearing he did not want to die a seccond time by xie lian's food but before he could say anything a swarm of silver butterfly's appeared and a tingling sound could be heard

"san lang! Welcome home" said xie lian with a bright smile looking at the red ghost king that appeared out of the swarm of silver butterfly's

HC:"did gege missed me?" He chuckle smiling back but glaring back looking over at shi qingxuan "what is he. Doing here gege? Is he bothering you again"he say's in a calm but strict ton

XL:"now now he isnt here for that actually he's only staying the night he wanted to Come visit me, we'll talk about all this around diner alright? It's almost done" he say's calmly putting a hand on hua cheng's back to then go back to cooking, hua cheng followed xie lian watching him cook

Shi qingxuan on his side decided to go outside, take some fresh air knowing hua cheng could've definitely tried to put him out of puqi shrine, After what felt like minutes but were only second's shi qingxuan got up and went a bit forward on the grass and started to dance like he used to to summon the wind his right hand acting like he was still holding his fan,

Xie lian noticing shi qingxuan wasnt inside proceeded on goin to the door looking outside seeing shi qingxuan dancing his old dance even noticing the gesture he was doing as if he had a fan, hua cheng soon joined xie lian's side

XL:"Say san lang do you think you could call the black Ghost king over for tomorrow?" He say's keeping his eye's on shi qingxuan dancing as calm as the wind is

HC:"why if i may ask gege" raising an eyebrow turning his head to xie lian

Pausing for minute xie lian then turn's his head to hua cheng "shi qingxuan he..came here to ask to meet black water"

HC:"tch, im not gonna do something for him." He say's crossing his arm's

XL:"san lang!" Sighing "then do it for me? After all im the one asking you it"looking away having his mind up about it

HC:"fine if it's what gege want, though you do know that your 'friend' is dead right? Its as clear as day light" walking back to the table setting bowl's down to eat and glasse's

XL:"of course i know even if it's hard to take it in" looking at hua cheng setting the table

Chapter 2: New day, New body

The Sun rised up shi qingxuan hadnt even Seen the hour's pass by he decided to stay a little bit longer thinking how nice and relaxing the environnement around him, not long After he sadly Heard yelling's and arguing's from a far annoyed he of course got up and walked in the direction of the noise

"why are you two yelling for in such early hour's?!" He say's obviously annoyed and quickly remembering that he is a soul that no one Can see him yet, however one of the two man looks at shi qingxuan crossing his arm's and rolling his eye's continuing with "he started it why shouldnt i argue?"

Suddenly hearing a reply made him look down at his hand's and here was hand's, his hand's they were pale almost white, he couldnt believe it he changed while star gazing and didnt even felt it, without a moment to think about it the other man stared at him while both of the two were glaring at eachother's and started fighting again

With that said shi qingxuan didnt want to stay here either and deal with these two anger ball's "well i dont really Care who started what the Sun has barely rised up and you're already yelling right in the morning can't you think 'bout the other's sleeping potentially around here?"

With that said he walked away back in the direction of puqi shrine visibly happy and smiling finally having his New form even if he didnt know how he got it to manifest

After a little while of walking he remembered ghost's have ashes which is their weakest spot knowing he himself was now one of them he guessed he had ashes too he just didnt know where yet, so he searched in the most obvious place on him he could think of, his pocket and ofc for sure there it was, in the form of a water wave mixed with a air breeze it almost had the shape of a ring but not enough for him to put it on his finger and even if he could he wasnt suicidal

Now with his new body and ashes in one of his pockets of his old clothes he continued his way over to puqi shrine, After an hour he finally made it over,

from a far he could see two familiar silhouette's walking over to puqi shrine too so he made a run for it and grabbed both of their shoulder's with a cheerfull greeting "hey mu qing! Feng xing! What are you guy's doing here? It's been a while!", surprised they both look back to see the former windmaster they could tell something about him was..different they just couldnt put their hand's on it, even so they answered back

FX:"hi shi qingxuan, what are you doing here? Last Time we Heard new's of you from xie lian he said you were badly sick." Staring at him with his arm's crossed

MQ:"yeah! And your injuries. They're healed?" Looking at his used to be sprained ankle with a judging look

"ah- ahah-" laughed and smiled after a bit nervous not really knowing what to say but still stayed straight looking at both of them "well yeah but i thought i could Come visit xie lian, beside's im not feeling ill anymore and well my injuries are doing ok even if the sprained ankle do still hurt a bit"

With that said it did not make any of the two stop their stares as they just knew something wasnt adding up

MQ:"your suspicious." Glaring kind of menacingly

FX:"yeah. Last time you took atleast 3 day's to get to the royal capital from here, but you dont look exhausted, or even-" stopping suddenly hearing a door open

All 3 of them looked at the door seeing xie lian stand in the doorway looking at them confused and walking down the stair's

XL:"uh- hey guy's? What are you all doing here?" Confused looking at them when he suddenly see's a familiar figure he haven't Seen in two whole week's and went over greeting his friend "qingxuan! Why are you here ?! Arent you sick still? Im glad you came but if you're sick i would rather have known you stayed at the capital, you really looked awfull back there throwing up anything you'd digest to even have a high fiever !" He say's a bit on a strict ton grabbing shi qingxuan's face looking for any ill sign and even putting his hand on shi qingxuan's forehead

Shi qingxuan grab's xie lian's hand wrist and pull's it away from his forehead smiling brightly waving his hand up and down "pfft-! This illness naaaaa! i beated it up! Im all good I just thought i could Come visit you my friend, and i dont look awfull!" Putting his fist against his thighs with a pouting look

XL:"well- i mean- if you want i got fresh clothe's you could take a bath and change up" hesitating to Say any more word's not wanting to upset his Friend on his look

SQX:"ooo! Really? I could? I do haven't showered ever since i left here, sure! But i'll repay you!" Smiling and confident
