I did the collage first. It originated from 2 random doodles on sticky notes, which became the top right part. I had a lot of fun with it ^^ shoutout to sticky notes. The digital drawing took me a long time. I tried 2 make it more saturated than my usual art (I definitely was not colour picking previously shhhhh). It could be even brighter, but I decided this was enough lol. I wanted to do a really detailed and colourful piece, without making it look really cluttered. The bg took FOREVER to figure out I kept trying diff designs and colours. I also kept finding random errors like gaps in colouring that I had 2 go back and fix. But yeahhh I think I did cool.

I titled this ‘chocolate strawberries’ cause it more strongly gives me the visuals of the colours red and brown, whereas fruitcake makes me think of… a fruitcake. I really like the names Berry roll and Chocoberry but obv they refer 2 the skins so it would be confusing 2 use that as a name. I’ve heard strawberry shortcake, which is rlly cute cause I mean, we have a strawberry and a short cake, but to me it gives more pink and cream vibes rather than red and brown. Yeah I’m waffling loll
