The way it lacks it's lustre and becomes lifeless, hanging on by a thread from you? Do you reminisce of when it first appeared to you lush with life and colour? Do you accept that it's unsavable and it's natures order of things, Because you're certain that there's a new leaf around the corner, does it make it any easier to shed it? When it drops to the floor do you reach your branches out to catch it? Do your roots sink deeper into the soil when you hear the crunch of someone walking over it? Perhaps you can teach me someday what it is like to love something and be able to let it go."
