Hi everyone! I’m Mojom and I’m really excited to share with you my take on the lepacy challenge for the Sims 4!
The idea for this lepacy is to experience and re-explore the game by playing with every pack one by one and see everything they really have to offer.
Each generation focuses on either an expansion or a game pack (I also included stuff packs when I thought it could work well with the generation - or that stuff pack came out around the same time). You can add the kits and the free holiday stuff whenever you want though!
I also thought of different ways to play this challenge:
You disable everything but the base game (as well as the kits and the free holiday stuff if you want) and you add the packs as the generations come - you can use James Turner’s disable packs code for that,
You keep everything in the game, but just disable the gameplay aspects that can be disabled (fame, eco footprint, snow…) - that’s the way I decided to play because I’m lazy and I couldn’t wait for Seasons, and also I get to see some cross-pack gameplay that I didn’t know existed!
You can also pick (randomly or not) which generation to play with!
When the next generation is born, that’s when the next pack can be either enabled or that’s when you can start to add some items from that “new” pack to start exploring the “new” gameplay.
The typical rules of the legacy challenge apply: play on normal lifespan, no money cheats…
Of course, feel free to play however you want! And if there is a pack you do not own, feel free to skip either the generation or the goals that you won’t be playing with! The most important thing is for you to have fun playing the game!
