Happy Sigil Sunday! Here’s a sigil to help you achieve your witchy garden dreams!

Gardening and witchcraft often seem to go hand in hand. But understanding how to incorporate plants into witchcraft can often seem like a major task, especially if you have the added burden of keeping your craft a secret. So today we’ll be going over one of my favorite incognito ways to enchant your plants.

Now you probably know that different types of plants have correspondences associated with them. For instance, lavender is commonly associated with relaxation. However, it is also possible to magnify the natural effects of your plants using sigils! By tying these minor spells to your plants themselves, you minimize the drain on your personal energy and create magically charged resources for future spellwork.

The simplest way to incorporate sigils into your plants is by using sigils on the pots which are inspired by the natural correspondences of the plant. As you can see in the image above, the sigils I’ve used also incorporate color theory to add additional power to them. There are several ways to activate these sigils, and I recommend that you use whichever method seems best for you. However, some suggestions are:

Creating an activation sigil that is tied to those on the pots,

Using your personal energy to activate them, or

Tying the energy of the sigil directly to that of the plant.

The final method is the one I use because it allows the influence of the sigil to grow proportionally to that of the plant.
