today's funky frog of the day: the imbabura tree frog (Boana picturata)!!! these frogs are found in the lowlands of western colombia and northwestern ecuador. they're notable for their large eyes (what are they seeing? who knows?). although they're not a very common species, they are not currently listed as threatened!

today's funky frog of the day: the granular poison frog (Oophaga granulifera)!!!! they are certainly granulated! they live in costa rica and panama, and are only around 20 mm long.
