stargazing on a spring night

★ u'sohn actually has a buttload of scars on his person from his time hunting, even though tias don’t normally do regular hunting (i’m just too lazy to draw them all out). the drake’s claws on his side was an injury that nearly killed him when he was younger (around 16-ish), and the yarzon bite on his arm was actually his most recent, where a yarzon caught him unawares while he was hunting them for their shells to make arrowheads.

★ u’sohn has a severe fear – borderline phobia – of the amalj’aa. this stemmed from his childhood, where he and his buddies were taken hostage by a group of them (this happened a couple of years after ul’dah banished beast tribes from the city gates so they were Not happy) after traveling a wee bit too close to their territory. during a scuffle between the amalj’aa and the older tribespeople to get them back, he, his best friend u’bykhta, and a couple other younglings tried to rise against the amalj’aa holding them captive. it… didn’t work out as planned and u’bykhta’s life was forcibly (and rather gruesomely) taken.

★ u’sohn is left-handed! as a matter of fact, the reason why he is so skilled at crafting is because he had to make his own tools and weapons himself since he was a kit, since most of them only catered to those that were right-handed. he eventually began to experiment with his creations – how could he make them better? stronger? – and his stuff in the tribe began to be more sought out by the women as they tended to be more durable and powerful.
