The response to Everlux being deemed as "not Light Flight related" that's diligently important because everyone seems to forget fanon =/= canon material, even in the "let's disregard most canon anyway" game, because honestly not a lot of fanon is even similar between most players. I'm posting this publicly because I doubt everyone with this issue will actually go to the Dev Tracker and read this.

Fanon/headcanons are valid for your own personal gameplay, but not what we base our development decisions on. We are also not responsible for player fanon or head canon.

Officially, Light Flight is about knowledge, scholarship, philosophy—not angels or seraphim. The Light dragons of the Sunbeam Ruins are philosophers. They prefer to be unbiased and logical, revealing the nature of the world as do the rays of the sun. Of all the dragons, Light dragons are the most scholarly, holding the pursuit of truth as the highest virtue a dragon might aspire to. Scrolls and relics are their favored treasures.

I should note here that many of your examples require the support of the accompanying lore articles and stories. Granted, Dusthide and Everlux currently don't have stories—and we plan on addressing that in the future—but even with just the breed articles, we can see where Everlux fit in.

^^^^^ If anyone came up to me and read parts of my book series maybe 5 years ago and has had 70+ new headcanons in less than a week shared or taken in as canon by them, and they tried to correct my lore by saying "Well Actually, Author, you got X and Y wrong because I saw someone write fanfiction on them and-" I'd probably be needing to hire a PR manager to request the most "friendly" version of 'You didn't fucking write any of my books stop fucking acting like a brat because I'm not catering to fanfiction while I'm writing and creating more for my books.' they could muster before I went further than that.

-Spheres are all over the Lightweaver’s Domain scene.

-The new Light Aura apparel is made up entirely of glowing spheres.

-Sunguard Chest, Sun Chaser Jewelry, Luminous Legguards, Luminous Sundrapes, and Solar Blades all have spheres or almost-spheres somewhere in the design.

-The Light sprite, Shining Goblin, Luminous Ambassador, Shining Cancer, Marble Lightweaver, and Lightback Slink are all holding spheres, or have spheres as part of their body.

-The Sunsea Pseudo is a recolor of the Wavebreak Snarler, so both are surrounded by bubbles… which are spherical.

-The Sunbeam soldier has some almost-spheres floating around them.

-Pearlcatchers, one of the breeds created by the Lightweaver, hold pearls that are physical manifestations of their souls, and also spherical.

Ms. Lightweaver I am so sorry for my companion's actions. He is rather young and inexperienced, despite his position.

Plus, Serthis culture tends to be more skill based than age based, and he is good at his job. Just... Tactless, at times.

I'm also rather young for my position, that much I'm aware, but Pest is still a few years my junior. He's learning, mind you! Just not as used to the cultural mixing as the other ambassadors.

That said, he is quite well versed with the plague flight. To my knowledge hes taken up residence with a dragon clan. That seems like something rather important for his rank. Don't confuse his cultural ignorance for inability.
