So….as you can tell by the title, I have the Loot Crate Wizarding World subscription. It comes every other month. I got the box near the end of september, but I had to wait until the missing piece (that everyone was late getting) arrived. The missing piece was also the smallest! Alrighty…well here is what came in my box in September.
Your ‘sorted’ house (that you input at time of purchase) determines which items that you received in the box. The first item is a house notebook. I received the Slytherin notebook. I have a good number of notebooks that I never use, and I want to; however, I have an irrational fear of ruining them….That’s the point of them! Anyway….
The second item is a house bookmark. It is a very nice bookmark, kind-of thick, but it is nice. Once again mine is in Slytherin. I am excited to use it.
Also you can’t see it, but it does have a small metal piece on the back is actually the marker. You can only see the design and tassel in the picture.
Third item I was super, super excited for when I saw it in the pamphlet. It’s a house banner! Obviously in Slytherin! I am so hanging this on my wall to go in my background when I start my YouTube channel. (Yes, I am aware that I am a huge nerd :p)
I had trouble getting photos of this because it’s so freaking long. I don’t know the dimensions of it, but it has to be longer than 4ft (over 120cm). A full view of the banner can be seen in the photo of the pamphlet at the beginning of the post but here are close two close up views of the ‘important’ parts.
The fourth item I was also very excited to see, and I can’t wait to use! It’s a house book bag! Again Slytherin. I would say it is more of a messenger bag than a book bag just because of the style. It only has the one shoulder strap, but it also has a top handle. It’s so cute! In the picture, it’s a little smooshed because of the shipping process. It is kind-of small, so large laptops and the big iPads won’t fit in it. I think my laptop might fit in it, but my iPad Air 2 definitely will!
The last item, that came in the mail today, is a Hedwig enamel pin. According to the pamphlet, this pin is the first in the new magical animal series. The July box had the last of the Horcrux series pins. I was not that impressed with the pin itself, I have some pin from enamel Disney that are much better quality. I still like the pin, but other than the letter in Hedwig’s beak it doesn’t scream Harry Potter to me. It reminds me more of Jareth’s owl form in Labyrinth more….not that I am complaining about that. I love Labyrinth even more than I love Harry Potter. I am just saying that for an item that is supposed to be specifically Harry Potter….they could have done a better job.
So what do y’all think of the Loot Crate Wizarding World box? Would y’all ever subscribe?
Thanks for reading,
