. . . so a few of my finds are from korean mua. although my makeup style isn’t korean whatsoever, i love taking tips from them. why? look at idols stage makeup.. dancing and singing for hours straight and still looks good on the big screen. plus it’s written in the books korean skincare. . so korean skin prep. with that being said i specifically followed aespa’s and gidle’s mua because im drawn to their makeup the most. enough talking.

basic skincare ( dropping my routine )

。micellar water、i don’t know when, why and how i stopped using oil cleanser but its up to preference. but i currently use micellar water.

。roundlab dokdo cleanser、this has been part of my routine for two years now and it’s an essential for me. it cleans everything from the skin and you can physically feel that it did.

。paula’s choice bha exfoliant、i’ve restocked on this a few times already, been using this for 3 years, honestly the best exfoliator. i use this 3-4x a week, nights only, and avoid using this right before makeup.

。anua txa dark spot serum、basic dark spot serum. i haven’t used it that much to review it.

. . now here’s the important parts.

。aestura cream face mist、i use this when needed ( i have dry skin ). sometimes micellar + dokdo cleanser can be stripping so i spray this. aespa’s makeup artist says she sprays this sometimes in between makeup steps when doing glowy makeup for the girls.

* during bedtime i lowkey drench my face with this.

。benton guava 70 toner pad、they’re so hydrating i make sure to rub in the excess though cause they can be sticky. this was recommended by gidle’s makeup artist.

* hydration is so important when it comes to doing makeup especially if you’re a matte girl, crustiness has never been in.

。aestura skin barrier cream、the perfect consistency if you have dry skin, it’s not too heavy but it’s thick enough so that it feels good for under makeup. recommended by aespa’s makeup artist.

。danessa myricks yummy skin serum、THEE PERFECT primer. i hate super sticky primer ( elf primer ), makeup applies like butter and stays!

。bobby brown face base、must have and a classic at that. perfect for dry skin its marketed as a 2 in 1. . moisturizer and primer.

。hourglass veil focus setting spray、i’m including this because i usually spray setting spray in between makeup steps rather than the face mist. but my makeup is generally glowy ( except for the undereye and etc ), and this leaves that glow.

。clinique moisture surge、honorable mention. however, my skin doesn’t really drink it up but i feel like if you have combo skin, your skin might eat this up. i still use it from time to time. especially if i need to moisturize specific areas.
