“Thank you. I haven’t seen my sister, Daphne Greengrass, here yet either. And I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t seen your great-uncle here yet. That is a great suggestion, and I could do that with you. I’m not familiar with this place quite yet, Mabel.” Astoria said.

“You’re welcome. Oh, that’s very unfortunate. I hope that you’ll see your sister soon here. I’m feeling very excited to check this city out with you! I just hope that it doesn’t have a slow Wi-Fi connection, though. I really love to look at cute videos of kittens on YouTube.” Mabel said to Astoria.

“That’s a good perspective to have, although I am worried about Connie. Haven’t seen her since I arrived, and she means the world to me. The weather has been rather unpredictable lately. I’m feeling okay but I do hope that Connie’s alright.”

“Oh, who is Connie? And what is your name? My name is Mabel Pines, and it’s a pleasure to meet you! I’ve always been optimistic!” Mabel said, and she grinned at the boy. “Is Connie your best friend, or your sister, or your girlfriend, or something else?” Mabel asked him.

“That’s a surprising way to deal with possibly being trapped here. My name is Astoria Greengrass. It’s a pleasure to meet you. What is your name? I don’t know why we are here either. And I don’t know how we arrived here either. And that’s such a nice thing to tell me. Thank you. I am feeling good. But I am also feeling extremely hot right now. It must be more than 90 degrees here, right?” Astoria asked.

“My name is Mabel Pines! I would love to check this place out with if you’d be okay with that. It’s a pleasure to meet you too, Astoria! I love your name! It’s so very pretty! And it is a very hot day here. I’m not used to this kind of weather... You’re welcome! I’m feeling great! Although, I still haven’t seen my great-uncle in this hotel yet.” Mabel responded to Astoria.

“You also don’t know why you’re here, this feels like Groundhog day or something. Sure, it’s nice for now but things can change. Especially when you have to deal with a constant threat like I do. Well, my day has been… rather interesting.”

“I don’t think that anyone does. But Groundhog Day can be so much fun! What constant threat? I know someone who is like that. His name is Bill Cipher. And that’s neat. Could you tell me more about that?” Mabel asked him.
