While I am curious to see what hostess crown you would get, I do not want to be held reliable when that thing inevitably disappears from my head. So, crowning me hostess would not be a good idea on your part. Though I am so down for a beach party. Especially if I can muster up a HI-mazing party playlist!  

You could always just wear your suit and do an amazing photoshoot around your place? Not the same, but at least people will see it!

How about I put it in a super cute bedazzled case and give it to you as a hosting gift when the party is done? Ooh, you had me at party playlist. What are you top five songs for a good summer party?

Ohh, I totally get that. One time a friend of mine threw a party while their parents were away for the weekend, thought it would be super cool. That was until like two days later and they still hadn’t cleaned up the mess. Got totally busted and grounded for like.. forever I think. I never saw ‘em again.. huh… weird. But they couldn’t get Beth or Alice in to help ‘em so I guess that woulda sucked. It sounds like you really know how to throw down, so I dunno if I would have the space at my place to throw one. Maybe you could just like, hire a place or something? If you find someone to throw it, make sure ya put me down on the guest list, I’ll totally check it out.

That’s a super yikes. It sucks that not everyone has a high quality cleaning company on speed dial. So they just disappeared forever? Do you think they’re still grounded? Even into adulthood? Maybe we should send out a search party.

Of course I’d put your cute self on the guest list but that’s a solid idea. I’ve rented out places before but I don’t think I’ve ever rented out a pool. If I do, I gotta go big -- oh my god, what if we rented out, like, an entire water park?

I would say it’s time to panic ‘cause summer’s half over but with this weather, there’s still the chance we’ll be swimming in like, November, so I think there’s still time. 

Hmm, I think you’ve got a point there. Oooh, you know what would be rad? A Thanksgiving themed pool party.

I’ve been burned way too many a time for not following the rules that I like to stick close to them.  Uh, No?

Can you cut it up and eat it then?  I’d think it would get all smushy inside.    Or just pour out the vodka and smushy watermelon and strain it or something before drinking it?

I full heartedly agree! Either a great pool party or a fantastic beach party. I think an impromptu pool party should be written in the making, and at this rate, I am fully prepare to be taking on the hosting duties for it.

Be still my glittered heart. If you host a pool party, I will love you forever. I’ll even get you an official hostess crown.

I thought it was like some kinda law to have a pool at every place in LA. I mean I got one, and all my friends do. Or is it just that you like, don’t wanna have to clean up after? Cause that’s totally fair, clean up sucks. 

Oh it’s totes law. I just need someone to throw the party. But, for some reason, everyone in LA must have missed the memo or all my invites were, like, eaten by a dog or something. Not so much the clean up, because I’ll usually just pay Beth or Alice to clean up but hosting is exhausting. I mean, this kind of cute doesn’t happen in a few minutes, you know? So the amount of time it takes to prepare can be daunting. The lashes, the nails, the glowing skin. It’s work! And then planning a party on top of it? I need a spa day just thinking about it. So, I prefer having someone else host. Are you offering?

I don’t know what the rules are about guests and pool parties, and it doesn’t seem like it would be the most discrete party ever, but I can look into it.  

What’s a vodka-melon?

I’ve never really been good at rules so I say throw the party anyway. Wait a minute. You’ve never heard of a vodka-melon!?

Sounds fun.  Isn’t the long weekend typically peek pool party season though?  My building has a pool, worst case scenario.  

Is this your way of saying that you’re going to throw a pool party for me? Because, if so, can I make a request for a vodka-melon?
