No.  Singing is just a for fun part now. I like it better that way.  Besides, if I link myself to music people might be more inclined to dig up what I did and I’m doing my best to keep that squarely in the past.  

I’ve been based out of Colorado so long that I will miss the mountains and the snow that comes with it. How many parts have you had to go to other countries for?  And where have you gone?

I can’t fault you there. Music is a safe haven. Don’t get me wrong, I love the winter, but not when shoveling snow off of your car comes with it. Primarily when you work off 2 hours of sleep and haven’t had your daily dose of caffeine yet. I heard Colorado is beautiful, though; what part of Colorado were you in? Three — I got sent to Australia, Indonesia, and France. All are beautiful countries, and I highly recommend going. I would love to go back just for pleasure this time instead of business. 

Whilst showing off my bikini body is totally on my to-do list, the water sports in St Barts look crazy fun. If anyone wants to come kite surfing, jet skiing, surfing or flyboarding then hit your boy up. Bros totally welcome, non-romantic styles.

I would be up for anything with the water, even though my slight clumsy side wants to regret it  — I can’t deny the inevitable good time. If I end up falling into the water, I may just stay in and go diving or something.

A piña colada sounds sexy as hell. The beach is good, but I swear to God, if there’s any sign of Ryan Seacrest in that damn resort, I’m packing up and leaving. He’s notorious for being too much, and not in a fun way. I’ll send up a bat signal if I see him.

Now I’m curious to see how Ryan Seacrest is too much. This is actually news to me. Though I appreciate you throwing up the bat signal for an easy escape. With how many people I hear going, something tells me that hiding within the crowd won’t be too hard to do. 

Hunter: As opposed to.... what else would it be? Unfriendly competition?

Hunter: Unless competition as a date is okay. Then definitely nix the idea of inviting others along.

Hunter: Should we see if the resort in St. Barts has karaoke?

Rachel: I suppose I'm just preparing for the worst when my competitive nature takes over.

Rachel: Probably the better idea to see if the resort has it.

I guess I’ll see y’all in St Barts. It’s perfect considering I have a new little black two-piece that’s been itching to be shown off by a pool somewhere. Plus, 24/7 access to mimosas? I’ll drink to that.

I have a feeling that a lot of people have been dying to show off their new swimwear. Me included. Though I’m mostly excited to drink a piña colada and layout on the beach to work on my tan.

I would have to star in it? I’m not really much of an actor. Unless you starred in it with me, ‘cause you’re the expert on it here.

It’s really not that complicated. Honestly, something tells me you’re better at acting than you think you are. I can show you  — we can do a short story video so you can get a feel of it. It’s better, too, to watch yourself back and see areas you’re good in and others that you may need to practice on. Though it’ll be up to you if you want to.

I think you’re totally prettier than Camilla, but I dunno if I can beat that smoothness of Shawn y’know? He just seems like such a good dude. Letting go of control can be fun sometimes too! You’ll see! I’ll surprise you and you’ll totally be like “Actually surprises ain’t so bad!” A hint?? Um.. okay. There’ll be lots of people?

Firstly, thank you  — that’s a compliment I will cherish. Secondly, I think you already have. You’ve been Prince Charming a lot longer than Mendes; he’s a great person from what I hear about him, but you have him beat in smoothness. Plus, I’d instead sing a duet with you than him. So, in the total dark, it is then. It’s a good thing I do trust you.

Rachel: Good question.

Rachel: If it's just a friendly competition, I don't see why others couldn't join in on the karaoke fun.

Oh for sure! Maybe we’ll even end up being the next Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello or something because of it! I know what you did last summer was a BOP. But wait, you don’t like surprises?? Why not? I mean obviously nobody likes like, a bad surprise. But this is totally a good one, and I personally love good surprises. Specially when it’s something real special or something you REALLY love, cause it just shows that that person knows you and thinks of you and stuff.

Perhaps? I like to think we would make a better match than Shawn Mendes Mendes and Camilla Cabello — even though I acknowledge their talent, I still believe we are better. Haven’t you noticed that I’m a little control freak? Being in the unknown isn’t fun, and I’ve never had a good surprise; I trust you, though. Still, I can’t lie and say that I’m not scared, nor will I try not to think about what surprise you have planned. Can I at least ask for a hint? Or am I totally in the dark here?

Oh zero help now. Cue years of trauma and not wanting to step into the ocean for years and years, not until I was well into my teens. 

All of them are pretty choice. Honestly, it’s great start to finish. Cornelia Street makes me tear up each time I hear it, sometimes I’ll skip that while baking. I have been known to put Me! on repeat but I Think He Knows is at the top as well. Annnnd I was making a lemon cake, it felt like it fit the vibe of the album.

Well, at least now we don’t have to traumatize eight-year-olds now. Though I am sorry, they decided to play that during a birthday party and scarred you for years. 

You have great song choices, and I can’t blame you with Cornelia Street — if anyone can let you get lost in the song, Taylor Swift is one of those artists. Oh, now I’m craving lemon cake!

Maybe I’ll pitch it and see how far it could go. Sand’s not that big of a deal and as far as the balls go, we can either bring a ton or make sure we’re not throwing them all wild. And that the receivers are catching ‘em. Hey, then you could like, make a short film or music video there and we both profit off the idea.

I think it’s an idea they’ll be fools not to like and help launch. I’m sure you guys are all fantastic at playing, but I would pack extra footballs just to remain on the safe side. In Mexico? You’re filled with some good ideas — it would be fun to film there. Although what that short film or music would be about is the next tricky question. You, of course, would have to be in it/star in it since this is your idea.

Of course you’d turn that into a chance to manifest work. I’m sure its just a matter of time until he casts you in something, Rach, so you’ll get your chance. 

I did not know that– so they don’t eat sharks? Are you about to tell me a killer whale is afraid of a shark? Ugh, see, you got me into this whole thing! Yes to hanging out, I totally need some Rachel time.

What can I say? Even when I’m not “working”, I’m working. To be fair, there are a lot of directors I’d love to work with before they cash in for retirement. 

Good, it’s working. Yes, orcas eat sharks, and no, they are not afraid of them. There have been great whites that swim away when they sense an orca close. Honestly, sea creatures…just any creature is fascinating. 

Why not both? I’m greedy, Quinn, and seeing you only for an hour wouldn’t suffice.
