Sue's Thinkings

Everything and anything is annoying me today. Maybe I’m just tired and hungry.

I feel I need to formally introduce myself. As I start again.

My name is Sue, I hail from the Kingdom of Fife, which is on the east coast of Scotland, as you can see below. If you ever forget where Fife is, look for the wee Scottie dog looking out towards Europe.

The biggest love affair of my life is with music. I love so many different genres, and favourite bands include, but are not limited to: Rancid, Peat and Diesel, The Damned, Skerryvore, Good Charlotte, Iron Maiden, Skindred, Blink 182, B*Witched, Chase & Status, The Exploited, Bomfunk MCs, BlackPink, The Business, The Beat, Avril Lavigne, Oasis, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Stormzy, The Casualties, NoFX, Wonk Unit, Britney Spears… the list goes on. I try to be open minded and give most bands and singers a fair listen.

Second love affair is football. I have supported Dunfermline Athletic for most of my life. They are my local team, and I try to attend what games I can. I do work a Saturday, so I do miss out a lot. I do also have a soft spot for Aberdeen, as my cousin used to like them, and I got hand-me-down strips. I also have traveled home and abroad to see Scotland play. I have met some awesome people, and had some great travels.

I am a fan of motorsport too. I remember watching Nigel Mansell race f1 on the TV when I was young, but my first proper experience was Cowdenbeath Racewall stock cars. The smell of petrol combined with the deafening sound of revving engines, me and my brother loved it. The BriSCA f2s are my favourite. And we now also have Lochgelly Raceway nearby, which means even more racing. Whooo!!! I am a formula 1 fan, and have watched it now for over 30 years. My favourite team is McLaren, and favourite drivers are Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, Esteban Ocon, and Lance Stroll. Though i do like all the drivers. I have never been to an F1 race weekend, but it’s on my bucket list.
