Good Riddance

BUT all that is to say, Angie and I are quite careful. I mask almost everywhere, and we /occasionally/ will grab some food at a restaurant, but whenever possible we eat outside, we mask when not eating or drinking, etc. We also made the conscious decision to allow that level of risk BECAUSE Angie is in two bands and performs at bars. So there is already an inherent level of risk. But of COURSE some fucking dudebros were giving me shit the Friday before last for wearing a mask. They were like “you know that Covid isn’t a thing anymore!” And then getting really close to the band to ask for them to play Free Bird. Angie started developing symptoms on Sunday evening, but we also just swept and dusted that day to put up the tree, and the weather changes made it so the sinus issues were not exactly surprising. However, it kept going on for a little bit throughout the week and on Wednesday Angie mentioned their head feeling heavy/brain-foggy. So, I suggested they take a test and lo and behold: Covid. Since then I have been testing every day and tested positive today. I also haven’t been feeling GREAT but there was the glimmer of hope that, maybe, I actually was just having increased fatigue and sinus issues due to stress and weather changes.
