My dreams are always too far for me to reach. They are off in the distance, still too cloudy for me to decipher. Yet I know they are there. I yearn for the day when the fog dissipates and I can say with certainty, that I know what I want. I can look myself in the mirror and say “today I pursue my future”. As of now I am met with crossroads at least once a day, who to appease, to pass, to please, to compete with and I want to say that this isn’t the case, but it is. And my life may seem simple, but I don’t have the opportunity to see it how you do. I live in my head, where my aspirations are always being recalculated and my desires are tucked away.
