In bocca al lupo.

The boy had plump lips the girl couldn’t stop staring at whenever they met. They probably felt like outer space but the girl never got to taste them, someone else always did.

The boy had nice hands that made shivers go down the girl’s spine, every time he accidentally touched her and electricity flew through their souls as if they wanted to connect.The girl never got to hold them, someone else always did.

The girl slowly but painfully faded away in the background and just a split second before she was completely gone, the boy turned around and looked at her with nothing but doubt in his mesmerizing eyes. He then finally shook his head and walked away. He could’ve saved her, but didn’t.

Once upon a time there was a boy who spent his life looking for the girl he had left behind. The boy travelled the whole world, but never saw even a glimpse of what he wanted the most and eventually he drowned in regret. The girl could’ve saved him, but never got the chance.

Until it happened to me.

Now I realise that it doesn’t matter how far you make it by breaking, the hurt absorbs every positive feeling that could possibly come with it. Now I realise that the infinite amount of time it takes to put everything back together isn’t beautiful, it’s a dark path no one wants to cross.
