But in the absolute best way possible. This is one of those instances where the art absolutely reflects the heart and effort of the artist. You can feel the reverance in the colors and the words they speak toneach other, even just the overall concept/idea.

I personally do not see a lot of art that examines the relationship between Luke and Anakin. So not only is this deeper dive intriguing to me, the way this conversation plays out had me bawling almost immediately. The love these two have for each other? Neither came by it easily, which is an idea I see often - If love is "right" then it will be easy. Absolutely not. Anything worth having that I have ever had has been fought for in SOME way, shape or form. And we saw how fraught the paths to each other were for these two.

So that they could reach this stage in their relationship where they can sit, be still, be HONEST about how they feel (even if it takes Dad prodding lol), and still say YOU ARE LOVED is truly amazing and incredible. And the humor? Very real. How often do many of us find ourselves in the middle of deep and intense discussion and feelings and have to crack a joke like Luke does, just to lighten the moment cuz we are overwhelmed? It does not lessen or diminish the conversation, just adds another layer. This whole thing highlights non toxic masculinity for me, as well, which I so appreciate 🙏🏼

Then combined with the pictures/colors/strokes? Gah. It isn't a word but it is all I can offer because seeing and reading this was an experience that provided me with an emotional purge I did not realize I needed but am so grateful to have had. I feel like I can brrathe again.
