Dad got all up in my face and yelled at me again a little while ago (he yelled at me because I was crying earlier while he was being horrible to me. It seems he is still angry about me crying).

I'm sadly used to this. My dad does get up close in my face and yells, and he has even harshly poked me on the shoulder or pushed my shoulder in the past a couple times. I'm not afraid of him.

My mom isn't great either. One time recently I told her that I am 90 days free from self harm. What did she reply to that with?

She replied: "Why are you telling me this, don't talk to me about this. Theres something wrong with you!" And then proceeded to get angry at me. I was trying to share my little win and progress of no self harm.

If I ever ask how her day is or just casual small talk, she tells me to go away or shut up because she's playing games with her online friend. I usually don't speak to her because shes always playing video games or tired from her job.

If I yap about my interests and get genuinely passionate about a topic, my mom and/or dad make it into a negative conversation and tell me to shut up or "do you ever stop talking?", "that music band is stupid," "why are you telling me this?" e.c.t

These are only a few examples of how they are with me. And many friends of mine over the years have told me that my parents are toxic.
