Athene smiled, figuring that’s what it was. A hand extended to playfully tap the nose of the creation a couple times, before being placed back inside her coat pocket. It was cute to see the kid so excited about something she made, and the smiling seemed to be contagious.

“ And you made it all by yourself ? No help at all ? You must be very talented indeed ! “

From the feel of it, it seems to be painted and wooden. She makes a squeaky sound at the mask being tapped lightly, beaming.She hasn’t been this excited about anything, really, in a long time, she’s full of energy and happiness.

“Yeah! All by myself. I mean...”

She trails off a bit, glancing towards the trees for a moment.

“I- I might have hurt myself a little bit while carving it, and one of the subconites helped with that... but I made the mask all by myself.”

The mask took her by surprise at first, but the voice was easily recognizable. And the rest of the outfit matched up to her suspicions.

“ I believe I know you as well. Though I will say, I didn’t recognize you at first with your face covered like that. “

Athene blinked as the child continued to talk, her eyes brightening at the mention of creating something. She had some ideas, but was ultimately stumped when it came to guessing what it was.

“ Oh, you made something ? What is it, then ? “

“That’s the point of a mask, of course you wouldn’t recognize me.”

She bounces in place a little then points at the mask on her face, very proud of it.

“I made this! All my myself, and then painted it! I mean, the dwellers watched, but they didn’t help! So I made it all by myself! Is it cool?”

Somehow, she hasn’t passed out from lack of sleep yet, and somehow, she has too much energy. And she’s spotted a friendly face! So, there’s now a masked child running at Athene.

“You! Hey, I know you!” She bounces happily. “Not a lot but I know you!” Caretaker seems happy with the fox mask on her face, not that it’s really hiding her identity much, considering her outfit remains the same.

“I made something really cool. And none of the dwellers want me to share it, but I wanna show you anyways. Cause they don’t get to tell me what to do.”
