WELCOME TO THE NEW OFFICIAL GUIDE FOR FISSURED: REFORMED!! Here, I'll briefly say the premise, designs, as well as answer some other questions you might have.
(Keep in mind, I already made some of these designs, before certain chapters come out. Also, old and new readers are free to look back on the original fic for more details and such etc.)
Premise: After a training incident that leaves Jasper shattered, Steven is forced to deal with the aftermath of what his actions have done. And, what they've made. Broken and cracking under the pressure, things get worse, before they get better.

Possible Questions
When did you think of the AU?
I thought of it around early 2020, after the finale of Steven Universe Future. I had this thought from the episode "Secret Team" from the original series, with the gem shards. When I thought about Jasper being shattered, I thought to myself "hey, what if that that also happened with Jasper?" and thus, the concept of Gemlins were born!
What are Gemlins?
A combination of "Gem" and "Gremlin." (Not to be confused with "Gemlings, that fan concept of fanmade gem children) Every type of gemlin is based off of a sort of animal, mammal, insect, bird, fish. Heavy animal traits. They don't really talk, but do mutter certain words in a gruff speech.
How did Puka Shell break off from Steven's gem?
It happened due to Steven's mentality upon discovering what happened to Jasper. Him mentally snapping, caused him to physically break. It was a huge left turn, feeling the victory of beating her and the sudden shift of realizing he straight-up killed her. His negative emotions caused him to be...Fissured (ba dum tss)
Who the hell is Emerald Facet 4 Cut 7XZ? (Ems)
Fun trivia, they were originally my self-insert oc! They've been around long before creating the AU (And I also shipped her with Lapis). A big thing that's changed for her is definitely her backstory. She still emerged on a vacant planet used for gem production, emerged 100 years late of the war, and has a phobia of lightning.
In the first backstory, she got into a fight with Yellow Diamond for her size and got poofed, later reforming and met Spinel. In the new one, her planet had crazy weather conditions, including lightning, that ended up wiping out the other gems on the planet, except for her. Later, when Yellow remembered about it, she had an emergency drop ship investigate, discovered her, and took her back. She met Spinel, who had just arrived, they bonded over being left behind, and quickly hit it off.
Who is Grape Agate? I saw her mentioned before in the original fic in Chapter 19, but no official design.
