A delightful and colorful cake pop recipe perfect for Emily and Autumn's Tablecloth Playhouse adventure. These sweet treats are not only delicious but also a fun and creative activity for the kids!
Ingredients: 1 box of cake mix any flavor. 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened. 3 large eggs. 1 cup of milk. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 1 cup of frosting any flavor. 2 cups of candy melts assorted colors. Cake pop sticks.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease a cake pan. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and bake according to the package instructions. Allow the cake to cool completely, then crumble it into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Add the frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until it forms a dough-like consistency. Using your hands, roll the mixture into small cake balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Melt the candy melts in separate bowls according to the package instructions. Dip the tip of each cake pop stick into the melted candy and insert it into a cake ball. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, ensuring it's fully coated, and allow excess to drip off. Place the cake pops back on the lined baking sheet to set. Decorate the cake pops with additional candy melts, sprinkles, or other decorations as desired. Allow the cake pops to fully set before serving or packaging in Tablecloth Playhouse style!
