18/05 || i think i already said this but i really love making lists

JULY 3 - 9, 2017 

My first bullet journal is almost full! I think July will be the last month I can fit and it’s making me super emo. But I’m excited to start a new journal! 

I recently got some Tombows and used the pink one for some details on this spread and I’m in love with it. I also just love this color scheme. 

I don’t remember any chemistry anymore~

Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you.

I’m not really sure if I can survive in this studyblr environment where aesthetics and color coordination, pastels and expensive pens, muji and other brands are the only things that sell. Pretty stuff that would probably leave me broke and pictures clicked with DSLR and edited with photoshop would waste my time and seeing no notes on my post because of the lack of material would leave me disappointed. I am not only speaking for me but also for other smol studyblrs who are here in search of some inspiration and here to provide some too. I know pretty is nice but there is so much more importance in just achieving what you want by taking inspiration for the notes and weekly spreads. I’m not speaking against any studyblr who follows aesthetic but I’m speaking for the blogs that cannot. I just want people to see beyond the colors and see the hard work.

Maybe the lighting isn’t the best but do your thing and post it. Be confident of what you are doing, bend the existing studyblr norms lets create new ones where the hardwork and content, the organization and neatness and the efforts and thought matter more than your mildliners and washi tape. Lets break the norms small studyblrs and create something that’s your own. Maybe there might be some just looking at pictures and thinking that can never match the photos of @emmastudies or any other super famous studyblr. That is not the point of the community. The reason why it exists is to give you another reason to study. So no matter how bad your notes look today just pick up your phone click the picture and put it up on tumbrl and give the others some real inspiration. Just tell them pretty isn’t everything. if you just manged to do it, it works too.
