!!!!THIS ACTUALLY HAS A REASON!!!
The most people put the water bowl next to the food bowl. This makes the water soiled from the cats point of view! Why? Because outdoors water is often contaminated if dead meat is next to it (aka an animal corpse, cat food)
If you put the water bowl next to the cat food the cat is worrying due to itās instincts that the water could poison it.
Thatās the reason why cats often prefered water thatās far away from the food source. Even toilet water seems cleaner and less dangerous for them!
Solution? In our home the water bowl is in another room. While the food bowl is in the kitchen, the water is in the bed room. Since we changed that our cats are drinking much more water and seemed even healtheir because of that!
@j-and-theflash maybe this is why our kitties insist on our cups?
I keep the catās water in the same room but on a different wall and our cat is fine with that distance. She rarely drank water before that.

Today is Monday so I planned on waking up early and kicking ass. That didnāt happen but I think I can make the rest of the day good. I ate breakfast and packed my lunch. Iām skipping biochem but going to growth. I have to study hard for my accounting test, take my test at 3, revise my notes for my classes up until this point, and write a paper for Moral Issues. All of the group fitness classes are full but Iām going to try to get a workout in tonight and eat a healthy dinner.
Really really happy because I had a productive day (in my standards). Honestly ever since sophomore year started, I have just been slacking and been unmotivated and felt like I lost my sense of ādriveā or āpurpose.ā I think itās called the sophomore slump??Ā
