You couldāve told me, I couldāve gone with you
San Francisco's Castro Station has new signs.
They look nothing like the old Muni transit signs, and that's the point. The yellow and blue signs are part of a project to create a coordinated system of maps, signs, and standards across the 27 transit agencies of the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Instead of trying to merge agencies or complicate things further with an umbrella brand, the focus is on the service.
The monolithic new sign indicates that Castro is a train (subway) station where you can catch the KLM lines. We've already got a universal fare system in Clipper, which agency runs the KLM lines isn't that important as long as they get you where you want.

Sorry but KoKoMo in Dimension 20: Gladlands? Jacob Wysocki, my dude, my guy, my funky fleshy fungi, what do you mean? "If you hope, they could. The world is big: we don't know."
Excuse me???
That's, like, what a lovingly devastating expression of hope. KoKoMo is there for healing? What's more healing than real, actual, non-delusional hope?
"There can be beaches."
Iām standing at Montgomery station looking at this payphone and wishing it worked.
Partially because, Iāve been reminiscing recently on the times when I had less than I do now (subsidized housing, low-cost phone bills, access to the means with which to buy essential things). And I just think we remember many times when I was lost, and needed someone to help me, and I couldnāt call anyone because I didnāt have a phone.
We have the technology, to bring back payphones, and to make them free for anyone who needs them. With the amount of tourism that San Francisco gets, thereās absolutely a demand for payphones.
It could have direct lines to operators who help locals and tourists transfer to BART, navigate through the city, through paying, through reporting grievances. It could even come with an app that can be used there as a sort of āso, your phone died- hereās a loaner for right now so that you can figure out your next stepsā
This is a concept that already exists other parts of the world, and has been wildly successful, they even become sort of landmarks of their own.
Brennan as Muni, sincerely " Please take care of my cousin."
Vic as Hugi, in awe of their cousin "Asshole. You're an asshole."
Hugi and Muni in earnest, "I love you."
