// day 2 of my masters is done! I’ve had all my module introductions and have already had assignments set so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little stressed :((

Just working on a couple readings for my late antiquity class, then I'm going to do a bit of research for a paper on the Getica.

13 March 2019 | When you have an excuse to watch BBC documentaries for class you know it’s going to be a pretty swell day. 

Spent the last couple of days studying for my masters test at the uni’s central library. Today I didn’t feel as productive as yesterday, maybe because it’s Friday and I’m feeling tired…

spent some hours this afternoon back at the cafe where i got my first ever job and used to come study at during high school. it’s nice having a place like this that still feels like a second home

august 20th 2019 - day 2/100 days of productivity went well, i studied grammar and literature and now i’m going to read on beauty by zadie smith and a tale of two cities by dickens.

this morning i reviewed some of my older nahuatl notes and did a little bit of planning. i took a break from nahuatl because i had a lot of pre-orientation things to do, but looking back at my notes reminded me of how much i enjoy learning the language.

I just wanted to remind you all that opting not to study at cute café’s or fancy places because you want to save money is fine. There’s nothing to be ashamed of. We’re all students here. Just because the desk you’re on isn’t picture-perfect or “studyblr worthy” doesn’t make you any less of a studyblr. You do you!
