8- 20 May 2013: Antiques and Brocante at BASTILLE

Every year, thousands of cows, sheeps, pigs and other farm animals make the journey from all parts of France to be on show at this very popular week-long fair. 

Aside from the livestock, you can taste regional products from all over France and buy direct from the local owner (cheese, wine, ham, saucisson and more). Many free tastings and cooking demonstrations are organized throughout the event.

This week has been harvest time and now it's time to celebrate with events scheduled all this weekend. There's an apéro-zouk (drinks with a Caribbean flair) everyday at 7pm on rue du Simplon.

It's Restaurant week in France which means that one menu purchased= one complimentary menu (starter, main course and dessert). Drinks are not included.

This is a great opportunity to try out some fancy places such as Helène Darroze or le 1 Place Vendome.
