It's shocking that I live in Los Angeles. I feel best when I'm in nature. I really do feel like I once lived in the woods.  I love finding sticks, rocks, pinecones, shells, acorns, feathers etc.  So many of my findings are incorporated in my pieces.

Each year we repurpose our holiday tree by cutting the trunk into disks. I incorporate the disks into wall hangings. I call my wall hangings wall charms. This one, I especially love with its pop of rainbow color. I found the driftwood on the Oregon coast and wrapped the wood pieces with some of my favorite fiber, vintage flowers and beads.

I made these collage match box shrines a lifetime ago in Port Townsend with Micheal De Meng at Artfest. The little baby boy is my youngest son August. This was the very first thing I made for him (when he was just an idea). The little girl in the pink shrine was a part from a Japanese toy and I just couldn’t throw her away. She found her special place here.
