Hi. It’s me, your soulmate.

If you’re reading this, it means that you’re the one for me. I had other boys before you but none who have read this.

I’m working on myself and working on our future. I go to bed at 3 AM to wake up at 6 AM so that I can get my degree and contribute to our future together. I hope you’re working hard for us as well. I know you’re fighting your way to find me so I’ll just sit tight and get myself as ready as I can so when you do find me, I’ll be the “me” that I myself am happy with and the “me” that is worthy of you.

I have gone through many heartbreaks, one of which that almost broke me. I am am as damaged as they come but I know because of you, I’ll trust again and because of you I opened my heart up again. 

Right now, I’m not too good. I’m stressed as a 1L, still picking up my broken pieces from my last heart break, and covered in about 100 pimples. BUT by the time you read this, I know I’ll be a stronger woman. 

So. My future love. I walked away from my last because I know I was suppose to be with you and not him. I walked away because I know there was someone completed me more than [i thought] he did. Right now, I don’t understand any of it; still trying to decipher my heart and mind. BUT what I do know is that he was not the one for me.. 

..because you are the one for me.

Why am I here?

I was with him for 4.5 years. Sparing the gory details, we broke up. I moved across the state for law school and not even 2 weeks after the breakup he has a new girlfriend. I am here to tell you about my journey to rediscovering myself.

What keeps me going?

Heart break is just a part of life. Everyone goes through it, whether it be a relationship, friendship, death, etc.
