They will distort their experiences and use confirmation bias to put themselves on the same level as people who are actually disabled/non-neurotypical

They act like they’re smarter than people who have studied the same thing for long enough to become doctors because Tumblr says so (or they think that their feelings and their teenage angst mean more than a degree for some reason.)

They use the excuse that they “can’t get to a doctor” when 90% of these people live in the United States and there are free clinics around. If you're really concerned about your health you will find a way to get to a medical professional, but this leads me to my next point:

They think they know more than doctors, right? So they don’t trust a diagnosis, so why are they pretending to have a disorder? To get medicine or treatment from people they think are stupider than themselves? These people are literally saying they want a disorder so they can avoid getting treatment based on whatever merit (OMG THE DOCTOR IS NEUROTYPICAL AND WHITE UGGHHH.) The only thing a disorder gives you is struggle, which means

Self-diagnosers are more often than not out for attention/pity/brownie points/oppression olympics points from the Internet so they don’t have to be responsible for all the horrible in the world that they attribute to the even-moderately-privileged-people.

They are literally taking a disorder and making it a cute little doo-dad they can slip on and off to fit in, meanwhile people like MEhave had to live with our disorders our entire lives and all the shit it entails (which, yes, is the ugly symptoms as well as the “cute” and “quirky” ones.)

9. These people often say they “aren’t safe” enough to get a diagnosis. McScuse me but your parents will absolutely see you have something going on with you. You’re not going to be quietly disordered. Like bitch I know abusive ass parents who were like wtf is wrong with you, I’m taking your ass to therapy or to someone to get your shit sorted. If you don’t want to be like “hey I think I have X problem” then you make some shit up like “yo I need to see someone because my shit is messed up”. Of course your parents aren’t likely to take your self-dx seriously, no shit.

10. If you’re legitimately not in a place to get a diagnosis, either tell your regular doctor about what you’ve been experiencing (don’t tell them you think you have X disorder) and they can give you some guidance or some minor diagnosis to help in the mean time, or look up some shit for therapy online. Meditation apps, online worksheets for CBT, start a journal, download an app like headspace. But don’t go online claiming it when you don’t actually know if you have it, because people that do are going to rightfully be pissed off and you’re probably going to spread misinformation and likely influence others to do the same. If I went online and said I have schizophrenia and sometimes it looks like (some normal shit like mood swings) then some kid might be like “ omg I have (some normal shit like feelings of being an outcast)” and start going over the diagnostic criteria looking for ways to apply it to themselves. It’s a cycle. Stop it.

If they wanted to be treated better maybe they shouldn’t be cishet I don’t hate them just don’t support their life style I have cishet friends so I can’t be prejudiced, I’m sure they’re all going through a little phase and they’ll be over it soon! 🤗🤗🤗

A) the reason why people adopt neopronouns/genders or lie about them is because they think it’ll make people take them more serious, treat them better, or give them some sense of authority (during arguments and repeating rhetoric), or

Was I tricked or did I fail? I failed because I was tricked. I hate YouTube. I look at every woman on there with weariness. I try to look for the signs they are male, I look at cheek bones and Adam’s apples and google Wikipedia pages. Wikipedia would tell me the truth right? It says they’re transgender? Not if they lie. Then Wikipedia doesn’t even know the truth.

I worry all the time I’ll be mistaken for one of them. Will someone look at me and think “that’s a man trying to be a woman” because I’m not feminine enough? Because transgenderism has only reinforced that femininity is what makes a woman.
