Julie was the first born child in her family. During the time her mother was pregnant with her, her father was fooling around with another woman and also ended up pregnant, with Julie’s first sibling and half sister, Veronica. Julie’s parents were never a couple. They grew up together and were best friends, so when Julie’s mother got pregnant with her, it wasn’t awkward. Her mother and her father’s girlfriend, her sister’s mother, were very close, so as they grew up, Julie was very close with both of the other Sanchez girls. Julie’s younger sister from her mother was also very close with her, but something drew her to Veronica and Victoria more than her mother’s younger daughter. Julie has always been the wild child. She usually ended up getting the other girls--and herself--in trouble. If they helped her with a plan, she made sure that if she was getting in trouble, they got the ass end of it as well. Julie has always been adventurous and doesn’t care what people think of her. She’s always been honest with people, but that honesty was a very blunt type of honesty and she often got in trouble for coming across as rude. Her personality was one that thought if you don’t want to know the complete truth, then don’t ask for her honest opinion, because if you don’t like what she has to say, she won’t be sorry in the least. She’s also always been very stubborn and will never back down from her hard headed mind unless talked down by her sisters. They’re the only people that can really calm her down about anything. Julie’s sister from her mother’s side tried to follow in Julie’s footsteps. She wasn’t a slut completely, but she did get around. Julie never thought about that, and she always told her younger sister about her adventures and her times with the guys she was with. One day, when her sister Kelsi was just sixteen, she told Julie that she was pregnant. Julie felt like she set her sister up for disaster and she’ll never forgive herself for it, but she loves her niece to death and would do anything for the little girl, who is now five years old. Julie’s adventures always got her in trouble. And Veronica and Victoria. One day, she decided to mess around with a time portal, which she thought was fake. Despite her sisters’ protests, she messed with a few knobs and they, along with Julie’s niece, were sucked into the 1950s. The second they arrived, Julie knew she’d really screwed up that time and she’d never forgive herself. She hates being stuck in one place, especially in the era, and she hates that she dragged her sisters with her, but especially her niece, who cried for her mother every day for the first few months. Now that they’ve been here in Lyle for about a year, she’s pretty used to it and even starting to call Julie ‘Mom’, which weirds her out, but no matter how many times she tells her she’s Aunt Julie, she’s still called Mom. Now, Julie’s been trying to find a way to get them back to their own time, which is the year 2015, but she doesn’t know where to start.

Ophelia Jane Smith was born on June 26, 1933. She grew up very old fashioned with two loving parents that are still together after 30 years of marriage. She was always friends with everyone, she’s never had a sharp tongue unless times call for it, she’s never done wrong intentionally, and her life has always been practically perfect in every way. She started singing at a very young age--the tender age of ten--and was signed on to a record label and she’s been singing ever since. She’s one of the town’s most popular people because of her success but she refuses to let it get to her head. She’s in love with her work and she doesn’t see herself ever quitting, but if she absolutely had to she would without hesitation. Ophelia met her current husband in the 7th grade. They were best friends, which by their freshman year turned into a budding romance. Once they were graduated from high school, they were married and are still living their happily ever after. Just last year, Ophelia found out she was pregnant with their daughter Beverly. Once she got closer to her due date she took a leave of absence from her career and she’s finally getting back to recording for a new album. Ophelia is very happy with her life and she wouldn’t change a thing unless she absolutely had to. She’s very aware of the things that are going around the town. She knows about the time hoppers and she knows about the ghosts, but she’s not sure who is who or what. The whole idea of ghosts walking among them terrifies her, but she’s been able to make friends with some. The time hoppers are the ones she’s not too thrilled about, especially the ones from the future, but she tries her best to not freak out about it. She just wants to raise her daughter as normal as possible and she’s worried the ghosts and hoppers might interfere with that.
