(Yes I managed to misspell a five-letter word. I would love to use “english is not my first language” excuse but sometimes I make even more stupid mistakes when I write in my native language. So I think I’m just not that good at using human languages in general)

Playing Legends for the first time years after it was released I of course knew about Volo and his cute little mischiefs. I still ended up in this situation due to my brilliant idea of creating a perfectly round team and a bunch of other bad decisions. Believe me or not this didn’t end well.

While I was prepared for Volo I certainly was not prepared for Kamado and his unique ways of making decisions and solving problems. I was not prepared for the whole exile situation or the last cutscene where this amazing man just gracefully plopped all his responsibilities on Cyllene’s shoulders. The woman is two piplup tall and probably one mishap away from murdering someone, give her a break.

I’m a little sad now because it’s time to say goodbye to my morning routine of sketching whatever questionable ideas visited my head while playing.

The all-time worst dub-ism I've ever heard in my life is when Dragon Ball Z said that Bulma can sense ki.

Specifically, during the filler arc of DBZ when Captain Ginyu takes over Bulma's body, he declares with shock that being in her body's given him the ability to sense Goku and Frieza's power levels from their battle.

I can kind of see the logic in it, from a "This was dubbed without anyone having seen the first Dragon Ball" perspective. By the time the manga gets to Raditz, it assumes you already know a lot of things, so the Z dub had to do a ton of winging it to figure out what the fuck anyone was talking about or anything meant.

So there's kind of a logic chain where. Like. The humans can sense ki, and Frieza's forces cannot sense ki. Bulma is a human. Erego, Bulma can sense ki.

I see how you arrived at that conclusion, Dub Team.

She'd probably be better off building her own tracking device, like the Scouter. She already has Raditz's Scouter to work off of for a baseline and scanning a mystical energy source wouldn't be that different from the Dragon Ball Radar, really.

What if they were lesbians and were dating. What if they kissed. What if Metaknight and Magolor had to be in-laws because their sentient objects made by the ancients were in love with eachother.

lvl 2: the plural version of octopus is octopi because if a word ends with "us" the plural version replaces the "us" with "i" e.g. cactus -> cacti and fungus -> fungi

lvl 3: actually, that rule is only for latin words. octopus is a greek word and the correct plural is octopuses or octopodes

lvl 4: actually, language is descriptive not prescriptive. since enough people over time have used octopi as the plural for octopus, it's a valid plural
