#nbto17 it’s always good to have a reason to get out to look at art. Individually for a gallery setting the Instillations would be great, but I expect more from a night where art is supposed to take over the city. The city is supposed to become a part of the exhibit a different way to look at #art and our urban space. Where’s my rock shutting down Yonge, or a stadium full of dancing mascots? A head between buildings or running through shameful paper bags anyone? I’m a little bit disappointed at the lack of utilizing the city scape this time around. The adults at grange park playing on the playground was my favourite part of the night, and it wasn’t even an official part of #nbto17 I think 🤔 we should refocus a bit more to utilize the opportunity with this awesome event. Let’s close off all the streets to cars for #nbto18 & see what we can do. There are enough galleries and great artists 365 in #Toronto to see typical Instillations.
