"Is hard to believe we've been dating for a year now?"
At Vincent's question, Cloud could only smirk. "Yeah, but I'm glad we stuck it out for so long." He answered as he raised his wine glass.
Vincent smiled as well and clunk glasses with Cloud.
They decided to spend their little anniversary by the beach. It was a nice break from their normally busy lives. Vincent even went as far as to prepare a picnic for the two of them to enjoy as the sun was going down. Needless to say, it was a very relaxing evening.
"I have another question for you."
"Yeah, what's up?"
"What would you like us to be in the future?"
Cloud paused for a thought before laughing a little. "Well that's easy."
"Easy?"
"I want to be with you, married even. Living somewhere nice and cozy, the world's not in any danger." He answered. "Just you, me, maybe a couple of kids running around too." He chuckled.
Vincent kissed the top of Cloud's forehead. "That sounds so wholesome. I like it."
"Even having kids?"
Vincent smirked. "As you see fit~"

Cloud has his hands wrapped in disappointment or even holding suspicion… it seems that Vincent is pleading his way through - “take me down if you must, take me down if my demons run out of control, the rest is in your hands, and you have my agreement to defeat me once and for all.” other than that… Vincent would aid Cloud’s journeys until a catastrophic event would occur, which doesn't occur bc they are gay. the end. (it was getting serious - i knowwwww..)

Something about this cover - could use a MASSIVE piece of text(?) right? or something.. at the center atop of Vincent's Cloak and hair. But i simply have no idea(wink) - enjoy this interpretation of "I really wanted a nice and simple piece of Vincent's cape just hovering over the entirety of Cloud's body" - it sorta gives the impression of how intimidating Vincent is in sheer size, but also he'd do whatever he could possibly do to get Cloud in his arms. Big-vampire-protective-werewolf-grampa-boyfriend energies. ya know?
