Stop apologizing. You don’t have to say sorry for how you laugh, how you dress, how you make your hair, how you do your makeup, how you speak. You don’t have to be sorry for being yourself. Do it fearlessly. It’s time to accept: this is you, and you gotta spend the rest of your life with you. So start loving your sarcasm, your awkwardness, your weirdness, your peculiar habits, your unique sense of humor, your voice, your talents, your everything. It will make your life so much easier to simply be yourself.

Please keep the homeless population of DC in your thoughts, and donate to the dccfh. Right now due to the curfew many of them are going to be unfairly detained. DC does not do cash bail. Any website saying they are a DC bail fund is a scam. Do not donate to them.

I need people to understand…that if you believe in paying people a livable hourly wage…most hand-knitted clothing should cost hundreds of dollars

It’s absolutely wild how the same people that will champion livable wage will turn around and tell artists, crafters, and musicians “I don’t know, I just think you’re really overcharging for something that’s non-essential :/” before asking for a friends and family discounts.
