you’re definitely like, aware that gee is lowkey a pervy loser, and this is definitely not a healthy relationship by any means; but also, you’re like 15 and dying to be rebellious (so apparently your way of rebelling is fucking your cousin, go figure).

but anyway you guys get to spend a lot of time together — after all, you’re family, and why would it be weird to hang out with your cousin? you end up having lots of “sleepovers” at your cousin’s house; you always sleep in gerard’s room, and he fucks you routinely at these sleepovers. he starts getting weirdly possessive of you: getting standoffish when you try to talk to mikey, being a little too touchy when you’re around other family members.

you start realizing the gravity of your situation, but it’s too late. you’re much too trapped in this web now, and gerard realizes that you’re trying to back out, so to ensure you don’t leave, he starts threatening that he’ll tell your parents all about the dirty things you’ve done together (and you’re too naive to realize that you’re clearly the victim here).

so you resign yourself to your fate, and grow increasingly uncomfortable as gerard gets bolder around your family members. like, gerard definitely gets off on your fear of being caught. he’s always close, if not overtly touching you (usually with an arm around your shoulder or something like that). there’s one time at the dinner table during thanksgiving where he sits next to you and fingers you right there, hidden underneath the table.
