I feel like people confuse the gun debate with their emotional nonsense. A gun is a weapon, the “best”, like a sword was during sword-times.

Gun control or gun banning all comes down to who you can’t control and can’t ban from using guns, or won’t. Like criminals and cops, they’re not going to stop using them, either because they are allowed to, simply don’t obey the rules already or are planning a higher crime and the gun is just icing. It is pretty much just bullshit to force the one group of people, the law abiders, to give up their weapons because it will make us all more safe.

People want more control than exists, you can’t take weapons out of the equation, even if it feels good to pretend you can and write laws to comfort mothers. Guns aren’t making ass holes shoot each other, they’d throw rocks or punch each other if they didn’t have them. Legal gun owners are the group with the least probability to commit a crime with a firearm, even though they’re the group with the most, duh because they’re in society and enjoying it and don’t wanna exit just because a gun is around. If guns caused increased violence then Darwin would knock out every person at a gun show from Mississippi to Montana. Come on everyone, it’s just tools, let’s keep the debate elevated.
