Little Steve (without Soda) is very quiet and independent, so there's no bickering or arguing or teasing each other like there is when they're both big.

Pony is a pretty good cg, despite being the youngest of the gang. He loves being a big brother and feeling like he can take care of the people around him, and know what's best for them, and have some control and maturity that he's usually deprived of as a greaser and the youngest of 7. The only thing stopping him from actually being one of the best cg's the gang has is the fact that he's more often regressed than not, and that he slips really quickly around other regressed littles.

No one would ever let Pony take care of another little for more than 20 minutes, to be perfectly clear. Any situation when Pony is left to care for a little is usually either an emergency, an accident, poor judgement, or the little is at an old enough age (usually 8-10) where Pony is less of a cg and more a glorified babysitter.

At first, Pony is pretty awkward because it's, well, Steve, until he realized that little!Steve is unusually docile and quiet, and probably wouldn't mind - or wouldn't outwardly mind - Pony's awkward attempts at interaction.

Whenever it's cg!Pony and little!Steve, they usually end up on the floor, rolling cars back and forth and occasionally crashing them into each other while a cartoon plays in the background.

Occasionally, Pony will, instead of playing cars, find a book he thinks Steve would be interested and sit down and read it aloud. Alternatively, he'll find car magazines and read them aloud, showing Steve the pictures and such even if he doesn't get much reaction.

Pony isn't super great at cooking or baking, but whenever he's watching Steve (or any little really) he tries to make things in the shape of things he likes. So sometimes Pony will put a plate in front of little Steve and it's like, fruit cut into little wrenches, and carrots in the shape of tiny cars, and chicken cut into hearts (food cut into hearts isn't something Pony thought Steve would Steve particularly like, but an affectionate habit of Pony's mother that Ponyboy now does when making food for littles), etc. Something he really likes to do when a little is being fussy about food is cut it into something they don't like, and encourage the little to tear it into pieces with their mouth and swallow it so it gets all destroyed, something Steve in particular finds hilarious and falls for every time.

The Curtis house didn't always keep blocks among other toys, since most of the littles found them too sharp and loud - especially the bright ones with all the colors and numbers and letters and such, those were just too overwhelming. That was until Pony was watching little!Steve fuss and pout and whine over having nothing to do. After questioning if Steve was okay with some loud noises and getting an affirmative, he brought Steve to the garage and let him watch as Pony cut and sand some wood into plain-colored blocks and cylinders and all those typical block shapes. Then he played 'tower destroyer' with Steve, where they'd make towers with the best foundations possible, throw a ping-pong ball at them, and whoever's foundation was most intact would win. Whoever won the most by the time they got tired of the game would get brownies. Steve always won, and loved the game so much that he'd refuse to play with anyone but Pony, and so he'd constantly pester Pony to play it with him when little, even if Pony was little, or if someone else was watching him.
